Chpt 31: Juliette is finally not irritating me! I think she's figured it all out! (view spoiler)[ She does love Adam, but not in the way she thought, like a friend or a brother. And Warner is growing on her, like fungus or algae :D.

Juliette is right, Warner saved her even when she rejected him, but Adam just threw her out and said he wished she were dead. I realize that he's upset and might not mean it, but it was cruel. (hide spoiler)]

This reminds me of a new situation where you meet someone and become great buddies then after a few weeks or months, you find out you have very little in common. Then it's awkward to not be friends, but you're just casual friends, if at all. You were friends of convenience or superficial friends, but not life long bff's.

You know, (view spoiler)[ you've gotta love a man who thinks you are amazing and adores you, especially when he barely tolerates anyone else. I love how Warner tells her friends that he doesn't care about them at all, but then he does it for Juliette.

Also, gotta love a woman, who makes you want to be a better man and brings out the best in you.

I did finish this before I left, but didn't have time to comment. (view spoiler)[ Decent ending. I liked the clapping guy with the shock waves. Juliette was incredible with her almost unstoppable power. (Of course, if she were a guy I'd worry about her power going to her head.)

I'm glad the Juliette took out Anderson. HATE that guy. Liked the 2 shots, one for Warner and one for Adam, but I thought she should've shot him for James too.

I was ecstatic that Warner and Adam were bonding as brothers. I felt glad for both of them. I enjoyed James grilling Warner and asking all those awkward questions that no one else had the guts to ask.

The ending was a little abrupt and probably not realistic since none of the gang were killed in the fighting, but I was glad. Enough of the Omega Point people had died. But probably one of the lesser characters should've been killed in the big conflict to keep it real and bittersweet.

They might have fights, but the little sparks between them is just impossible to ignore. And she already kinda broke up with Adam. 23- (view spoiler)[ Wow, Adam cannot say a single sentence to Warner without being angry. Juliette seems so done with him though. And honestly, Adam does sound a bit needy, because he loved a different kind of Juliette, who was scared and weak. It's like he can't stand Juliette standing on her own. (hide spoiler)]

But it makes me super worried, as if...oh god I don't even wanna think about it, but what if Kenji dies?? That's exactly what authors do!! I just really hope I'm wrong about it. (hide spoiler)]

29- (view spoiler)[ Oh Adam. This was one hard breakup. And this chapter was a bit emotional too, with Juliette trusting Warner like that. That's just genuinely sweet, like actually getting to know someone instead of just making judgments inside your head. (hide spoiler)]

Finished. This is my favorite book in the series. (view spoiler)[ The ending is semi-open, so that the readers can imagine the future themselves, and it is not a cliffhangar either. So it's pretty much a happy ending. Of course we got a little heart attacks when there was an assumption of Kenji's death or Warner's death. And Juliette's fighting skills?? My goodness. She's practically indestructible. Like a REAL SuperHero'ine'. The only way she can die is probably by an old age.

The only thing I'm angry about is WHAT THE HECK DID WARNER SAID TO ADAM?!?!?! Dang, that thing is like a cliffhangar to me. But at least the story is a happy ending. I loved it!! (hide spoiler)]

This is a re-read for me. I've heard SO many mixed reviews about this book, about how it has no plot and it ends with plot holes. I just had to revisit it.

I'm only 3 chapters in and already I'm just obsessed with it. The writing style is SO good to me! That's another thing that people hate, all the metaphors and similes and sentences that might not make perfect sense but to me they just sing song right off the page. I love the style so much I can't wait to immerse myself in it.
