@Noella I don't like the sudden abruptness of everything. (view spoiler)[ One moment Juliette is "in love" with Adam, the next she's in love with Warner. It's just all too sudden to me. I have a hard time believing that her feelings for Warner have done a 180 when she practically hated his guts the last couple of books. I don't know. I also think Adam's total personality change was a bit of a shock and somewhat unrealistic. I have to keep reading to form a better opinion. I do like Kenji though. I've liked him since he was first introduced to us earlier in the series. He feels the most realistic to me and his comic relief is a godsend since everything else is so serious and heavy the majority of the time. (hide spoiler)]

I feel like I like this book more than everyone.. I felt the change in Juliette's feelings towards Warner right as they happened...

I saw an interview somewhere where TM said there is still a lot of untold story in the series and so that means possibility for spin offs.. So I will just keep my fingers crossed for that

i didn't dislike it. the romance felt right to me.
i was disappointed with the dystopian aspect of it. so little was explained, and that ending was just so rushed.
i don't think juliette can go (over a matter of months) from a cowering almost insane girl to a world leader.

i'm definitely still upset about that! that was seriously sadistic and hard to look past, i don't know why Juliette hasn't kept that in the back of her mind all this time

I agree! (view spoiler)[ Kenji is very consistent and it hard for me not to love him. I was thinking about Warner and Juliette's relationship last night while I was reading and I have this weird pull towards Warner but I still don't like his character as of right now. It's hard to explain. I'm glad that he's helping Juliette and her friends but I still don't fully trust him, especially since he's been so hot and cold. Now that Adam's back in the picture I'm curious to how things are going to play out. He's in utter denial and I think he needs to get over himself because there's more important things at play. I also want him to come clean to Warner about being brothers. I think that'll definitely be an interesting point in the story (hide spoiler)]

I just finished this last night and @Greta, I totally agree with you on basically everything. (view spoiler)[ The entire ending felt very unrealistic and abrupt. There was so little focus as to how they prepared for this battle (aside from physically training) and then they were fighting all of Anderson's men. Then Juliette and Kenji go looking for Anderson, Juliette finds him then she just shoots him in the head. It felt anti-climatic and rushed. Finally she escapes the ship, goes to the stand and makes the announcement. I don't understand how that many soldiers would just stop fighting and actually believe her, it makes no sense. Mafi leaves us with an ending that I felt was dissatisfying because it ends with Warner saying everyone will be after them, which would be assumed (in my opinion) regardless if he said that or not. I don't know. I wanted to like this more than I actually did, and it was good but there were a lot of things that just didn't connect. I'm glad Adam's tattoo was brought up because I didn't even think of that when I was looking back at everything! It was a pretty poor explanation considering Juliette originally associated it with freedom and flying, and Adam was the one to give that to her. (hide spoiler)]

i think if i had been team adam i would have given this 3 instead of a 4 stars, but bc i got the romance i was willing to give it a 4.

I was actually pretty neutral going into it, after the end of Unravel Me I wasn't sure how I felt because Adam was basically throwing himself a pity party and Warner was still pretty mysterious. Granted despite how unrealistic the development of Warner & Juliette's relationship felt to me, I still did enjoy the romantic element between them in this story.

It was pretty sudden, I agree. She hasn't seen him since grammar school and she never spoke about him until after she realized who he was. It was quite strange. It was only because she was deprived of being touched her whole life and he was able to touch her that it was so profound (hide spoiler)]
