Okay, so I finished
and to my surprise did not like it very much. It just seemed too forced, too much of everything. And after reading some reviews for book 2. Yeah, so not going there. I like my Kindle too much and do not want to throw it at the wall. But started
and loving the hell out of it.

Yes, it was far too convenient, and set to please all the readers and not make people made, which made it feel like a cop-out to me! But I do think that was the one we were talking about, though I'm not sure we ever really discussed after you posted your review. I will have to check. Either way, I got this lovely email last night from "someone" and it made me SUPER happy! :)

But I feel like sometimes there could be a bit more depth. Although there is some heart-ache in there, it does not really get to me as much as other books do.

Well I finished
it was good, but due to the whole knowing sort of what was going to happen since reading the next couple books synopsis I was more anticipating those results or waiting with baited breath for that to happen. Overall it was decent though. Onto the next one to see what happens.

Sylvia I finished and I agree book 3 was my least favourite. I had a hard time liking either of them and found it was so unnecessarily long. I'm not sure I could be so forgiving. I LOVED the first 2 and they will remain in my heart.

I wasn't impressed with it. I gave it a 3. Not terrible for a debut, but it could have been so much better. It's listed as high fantasy, but I really can't reconcile it with other books I've read in this genre.

I completely agree with you on book 3 and I believe it was absolutely unnecessary for her to have written it lol I was absolutely happy with it ending at book 2 :D

and loved it! Tohr's story was so emotional. Now reading
which is fun and light. And the MC has no filter whatsoever and is quite entertaining.

Sara, you should definitely read it. I LOVED book 1 & 2. Book 3 I was ready to throw my iPad and write Paullina a nasty letter that started with "how dare you...." My beloved characters weren't the same and neither was the writing. Just read book 1 & 2 and that is enough.
