River felt ashamed that he'd been angry with his first friend in Erudite. "Nah, man," River said, walking over and slinging an arm over his shoulder. "I'm not going to talk about you."

River smiled. "Yup. You did. Which is why I used future tense. 'I am not going to talk about you.'"
River decided that, if he spoke, he would ruin everything. So he remained silent.

Now, River decided that speaking would be even worse than before... "I can stop you," he said.
((I tried to make it a confusing atmosphere... XD Yeah, just ignore him.))

"Oh, don't worry," River supplied, "I'd be happy to help."
((( LOL I'm gonna awkwardly interrupt. )))Cleo walked into the dorms to get something from her bag. Apparently she was also walking into a heated discussion. "Oh. Sorry, am I interrupting something?" she asked trying hard not to roll her eyes. They were near her bunk and she'd have to awkwardly cross over them to get to her bag.
"Yeah. A friendly conversation," River answered Cleo.
Cleo took a small step closer to her bunk behind them, "My bags..." she peters of pointing to her bunk.
Amber walked in silently. She would never fit in. Everyone else had friends. Her old Erudite buddies weren't there for her
Amber walked quietly to her bed. No one had noticed her
Cleo smirked and glanced at Catron suspiciously but shrugged grabbing what she needed from her bag.
River smirked at Cleo, just to get her to stop looking at Catron.
Cleo raised a brow at River, trying hard not to roll her eyes herself.
Cleo turned her glare onto the girl, "No, but it seems like your friend might need some" she retorted glancing at Catron.
((( Ah okay )) "Nothing" Cleo replies eyeing River curiously.
"Then why do you have a problem?" he asked hotly.
Cleo smirks, "I don't, love" she replies taking a small step away from all of them.
"Good," he fake-smiled, "Then you can leave!"After a second, he added mockingly, "Love."
"Don't have one" she repeated crossing her arms over her chest.
Cleo rolled her eyes, and turned around to leave.
Amber stepped in. "What are your problems?"
Cleo turned around suddenly amused, and interesting in the oncoming conversation.
"We all live here so you need to build a bridge and get over it." She was tired of the girl being mean
"That was before things got interesting, lo-" she cut herself off before she could finish.
"Then tell me." Amber replied, keeping her calm
Cleo glanced at the two boy who seemed to be struck frozen behind Bekah.
"Fine then." The girl surely was stubborn
"Just lay off her, okay?" River told them seriously.
"You know what, I don't have time for this." Amber turned on her heel and walked away
Mackenzie wrote: "Bekah turned around and walked back towards River. "Thanks." She told him,"He nodded.
Cleo took one last look at River before sighing and turning away.
Cleo paused at the door of the dorms, tilting her head slightly to listen better. She knew they couldn't see her from here.
He shrugged and gave her a bewildered look.
Cleo sighed and walked out, lonely life in Erudite. Sounds like a song, she thought rolling her eyes.
River held up his hand for a high-five. "Same-two-enemies-buddies!"
