"Exactly!" River nodded, grinning and placing his hands behind his head.
"Eh. My reasoning seemed more logical before you questioned it. But, really, I got twelve points lower than you, so if Erudite goes cutting people, they'll get me first."
"Well... Just be glad you aren't in Dauntless initiation right about now, then."
"You know how many kids chose Dauntless this year? At least fifty, right?" River asked, "Well, only ten of them get to stay all through initiation. And at least three of them will die."
"Yeah, it is," River agreed, thinking of his younger sister. "We should probably get back to initiation, though. That test can't have been the only thing we're supposed to fill out."((Fiona's giving them an essay to do, I think.))

"Actually I think they just left but I would be happy to huddle in a corner with you" he said

Piper walked out and went towards where initiation was.((You post first?))
River walked in and lowered himself down to the ground beside one of the beds, hiding from whoever decided to come looking for him, if anybody.
River silently slid under the bed he had been leaning against. He didn't want to talk to anybody.
Little did Bekah know that he had had years and years of practice hiding from people. He could hold his breath for over a minute.
Wow. She was persistent. Well, he was safe and sound... Wait a minute... She was checking under the beds!
Okay... Got to come up with a plan... I need to somehow get on top of the bed without Bekah noticing...
He heard Bekah coming towards the bed he was hiding under and decided to inch his way to the side she wouldn't check, so he could quickly escape right before she checked... That only made sense to him.
((Food is always a good thing. :D Never apologize for eating. XD))He heard her. Okay, rolling out in three, two...
((Woohoo! XD I went to eat.))River quickly rolled out from underneath it and ducked behind the headboard. At this point he had honestly forgotten what he'd been angry about.
River snorted, accidentally giving away his position. He wildly slid back under the bed, hoping she hadn't heard. ((Yeah, just come in whenever. XD))
"Darn," he muttered, rolling out and stopping at her feet.
"It was your fault," he pointed out, sitting up on the floor and leaning against the wall, "You gave me reason to laugh."
"Seriously, though," River said in a softer tone, "You can stop pretending it doesn't hurt."
River snorted. "Bekah, do you think we really need proof you aren't weak?"((Sorry. Went to fold laundry.))
River rolled his eyes. "Bekah, you can even handle me. My own mother couldn't say as much!" He felt a pang in his stomach as he said it, but he ignored it.
"I didn't want to end up hitting you, too," he said simply.
"People tend to end up hurt when I get angry."
"I don't know," River replied, shaking his head.
"But he should be able to!" River exclaimed, frustrated. "I'm the only one who should have to be cursed with so little self control..."
"Not like most people," River said shortly.
River looked at her. "What's wrong? Don't lie."
He rolled his eyes. "I'll go get your ice, Bekah."
River returned with the ice a few minutes later. Halfway to the bed Bekah was seated on, the ice pack split open and ice clattered down onto the floor. Being River, River naturally lost his balance, slipped on a few ice cubes, and slid into a wall nearby, where he slammed down to the ground. After a few seconds, he stood shakily and grinned a little. "And that, dear Bekah, is your very well executed entertainment for this evening."
River just laughed. "Yeah, of course."((Gtg. Be back soon.))
