"Yes, Catron we really should make this formal," River joked, "I'll go ahead and type up a formal 'disown Catron' document, and you can get a pen to sign it."
"Bright pink with green flashing lights."
"Nah, you should just show up nude and see where the police take you."
Cleo walked in and her eyes widened. "Who's getting married?! Can I be one of the brides maids?" she asked smiling widely.
"Yay! Weddings are boring though" she replied frowning.
Cleo eyed Catron's journal curiously befere inching towards it. "What's that?" she asked nodding towards his hidden treasure.
"What the heck did you just write in that thing?!?" River asked Catron, much less subtle.
Cleo took a seat next to Catron, and peered at his journal. "What is it?" she asked softly.
Cleo sighed, and got up. "Fine whatever" she muttered returning to her bunk.
Cleo lay back on her bunk, avoiding Catron's eyes.
River looked around at everybody, extremely confused.((Gtg!))
((( Byeeee )))Cleo didn't reply, but glanced at Bekah seeing her reaction.
Cleo sighed and turned over so she couldn't see them anymore. They sounded so much like her brother, and her talking.
Cleo tried to mute them out, she started humming softly trying to block them out.
"And when the people are all asleep, you fly your way to Neverland" she sung under her breath closing her eyes. It was a song she'd once heard her mother sing. "Where the forest sings, and the whispering bees all smile".
Cleo jumped when she heard Bekah scream, "you okay?!" she exclaimed before she saw the journal. Walking over to Catron, she held out her hand. "Lemme see"
Cleo flipped through it her face neutral. She'd seen things like this before from Anden, papers, drawings, stories, he hid them under his bed. Finally when she was done, she handed it back to him. Considering hugging him, she frowned. "I'm sorry" she murmured.
"It helps you cope, doesn't it?" Cleo asked, turning towards him.
Cleo winced, and turned away from Catron. She needed to get out of this place. "Want go for a walk?" she asked suddenly.
Cleo awkwardly cleared her throat, and inched away from Catron. They probably needed some time alone.
Cleo got up, "I'm going for a walk" she mumbled to whoever was listening before turning and walking to the door.
Cleo froze before turning around, "Care that you want to kill yourself?" she asked raising a brow. 'Yeah sure I don't really know you, but I don't want anybody to take their life"
Cleo's eyes widened and she frowned. "Yeah" she muttered
River couldn't say anything except, "Catron..."
He just couldn't believe it... Catron was really suicidal?
"So that walk...." she said sighing. She wasn't good in dramatic scenes. Drama was not her thing.
River watched Catron, unable to come up with anything to say.
River slammed several pillows into his head.
River collapsed against his own bed, too.
River tried to ignore the sad noises echoing from Bekah's bed.
"We should make a happy book," River muttered, "Where everything is perfect."
"His journal is too depressing..." River said quietly. It scared him.((Gtg!))
((( SORRY )))Cleo got up and looked at Bekah, "Coming?" she asked purposely not looking cat Catron.
He nodded. "Go ahead with Cleo," he said, forcing a smile.
"Nothing's wrong," River said, "Go with Cleo."
((LOVE THAT! XD))"What?" he asked. He just didn't want to have to come up with words to explain the way he was feeling.
"I won't be alone, I'll be be with..." He scanned the room. There were no other people.
River sighed and asked a question that she'd asked him earlier. "Why do you even care so much?"
"And, as my friend, you should trust me."
"Then what the heck do you mean?!?" River asked, exasperated, "Quit being so cryptic!"
He instantly felt bad. "Sorry," he whispered.
He, uncharacteristically enough, didn't respond.
((IKR?!?!? He should have said something astronomically stupid, like "Your cheek tasted good" or something!))"Thanks," he replied quietly.
((Uh-huh. That's why he didn't say anything. :D))River turned to stare at a wall.
