Ray) can be easily mistaken for someone who is detached and introverted, at a glance; though this later appears to be a facade to hide his true violent and dangerous notions, which he is revealed to have come to Dauntless to prevent, after the supposed death of his parents and sister; Marylyn, who later was revealed to have told him not to pity her during death, a phrase which he later took to his further life sentencing, and uses afterwards, when people feel sorry for him or upset at what he did.

Notes; Lost his temper in front of Akira, Hades, Matt and Luna. Went to the Chasm, after Hades tried to comfort him, and was met by Sterling, who he told he wanted to die; and revealed the fact that he killed his parents and sibling there. Sterling let him go, before he rushed back to his dormitory, then exited to the Initiation Camp, where was knocked out for almost killing Luna and Zachary; then asking for suicidal, before being transported to the Infirmary where he created a love interest(Bella) after sharing a chocolate cake.
Shortly after, everyone arrives; Bella and Luna have conflict. Luna stalks out to go training. Bella stalks out to go and talk to Ally. Raithe visits the dorm and falls asleep sharing awkward glances with Luna beforehand.
Raithe has a bad dream and goes out to train. He talks to Hades, then goes to the tattoo shop and gets tattoos with Loki, Aria and Daemon. He starts conflict and goes to the training room, where he stabs Aria, after a banter he has with Loki. He says he will kill her, before leaving for the Chasm, where he has to work with Aria and Sterling to get Daemon to safety after he was knocked out and placed on one of the ledges.
After he is saved, he is unconscious,and they take him to the infirmary, where it was revealed that he was placed there by someone who had previously clubbed him on the forehead calling him a Divergent Lackey, after Raithe tries to apologise to Aria privately due to earlier reactions; during which time he also tries to grab her wrist, telling her that he is not like she believes him to be and asking her if she really believes him to be a sad creature, like she had stated in the chasm,. Unfortunately she doesn't hear and won't answer. He is left in a bitter mood afterwards.
It is also revealed that Daemon is delusional and he attempts to strangle Sterling, trying to persue some sort of escape plan for unknown reasons.
