Team Chaol or Team Dorian! Comment plz!

Well, without having Rowan as an option (I ship Aelin and Rowan), I think I have to choose Dorian. Chaol is a little annoying to me. It's just something about his personality that is irritating me. So I have to go for team Dorian.

Same. Or I did in the first two books but after Dorian has his collar off he is really different - much better. But i still wouldn't ship him with Aelin.

Dorian is head over heels in love with Celaena, my problem with her is that shes so stuck on building "trust" with her "charm" shes ensnared these too men Dorian (whos had past heartbreak and experience with love) and Chaol (who lets face it has probably never had a girlfriend) and she doesn't even realize how much they care for her because shes still a child mentally.

LOL not a fan of Celaena when Chaol is involved, otherwise I love her.

If I would have answered this before I read all of the books, I probably would have said Chaol, but I cannot stand Chaol now...I do not know why. I love Dorian so much though! Idk, I guess I don't really care for Chaol, because 1.) Even though I have already read EoS, I am still holding a grudge against Chaol, even though it was not his fault. 2.) I am all about a sense of humor, and Chaol is just so serious ALL THE TIME. Okay, I am ranting and this is just my opinion...I like Dorian better...Sorry to th e people who love Chaol, it is just my opinion.!

Chaol is quite the oblivious guard, as all guards seem to be in both books and movies - I'm not sure about real life, though. In my opinion...Chaol is just a bit dim-witted, is all. He's not really evil, and it's not really his fault that all the drama happened between him and Celaena, but it is also his fault - it's just confusing. Maas really did do well in the first few books.

Even in the presence of the overrated Rowan, I still love Chaol. I rooted for Chaol when Celaena turned out to be Aelin Galathynius. I rooted for Chaol when he shipped off Celaena to Wendlyn. I rooted for Chaol when he got his heart broken (yet again) by a girl he so dearly loved and tried to compensate for it by helping her cousin. I rooted for Chaol when Celaena started developing feelings for Rowan. I rooted for Chaol when Aelin came back a different person. I rooted for Chaol when he was being an uncharacteristic asshole. I rooted for Chaol when he got in an accident. I rooted for Chaol when Aelin married Rowan and when it was as clear as heck that I should not be rooting for Chaol anymore.

I love the guy, and I will always love the guy! I'm not saying that I don't love Dorian because I do, I really do. But it's just that, when it comes to Celaena and who offsets her and complements her and matches her sharp, untameable edges that always keep off unsuspecting victims. Chaol completes Celaena, even if she's more of an Aelin now, even if she said 'I will always pick you' right before she left him with my heart broken to a million shards.

*Before I read the books after Crown of Midnight* I was a team Chaol all the way. There are many reasons why I am a team Chaol. Firstly, Celena and Chaol chemistry was just so much better. When I was reading the book I think that Celena was truly in love with Chaol and so was he. They were a perfect couple and they were unbreakble, they would have done aything for each other.
