@Alison - You posted twice the same thing so I'm just going to remove one for you (:

Jodi wrote: "I am a little nervous but I will have a whole year to read. I am just going to have to plan well."How many books do you read in a month? If you go for 20, I'd say read 2 books for this challenge a month along with the other books you plan for. Good luck! :)
I will join this for 10. I have about 8 on my to-read list and I'm sure I will find a few more that interest me.RECOMMENDED BY READING CHALLENGERS

Also, I wanted to add this seperately from my challenge post. I'm not sure who the moderator is for the list, but I noticed The King listed. Not only is it the 12th in a series, it's not being released until next year. It's at #91 now. Also on the second page are a few other books from series which aren't the first one.

I usually read 4 books a month but I am a teacher and off in the summer. I think I read 35 books this summer. 23 of the books are on my "Want to Read" List. Because we can use books for multiple challenges I think I can make it work. I just have to plan well and be aware of the books I am reading. We'll see.
Since this is a yearly challenge I will try for one a month, so my goal is 12. I have read 8 of the top 10.
Kara wrote: "Thanks, Natalie! I will remove them. This is the perfect place to mention things like that."Well I plan to read it but #38
is the "in death" book coming out in February ... so it probably needs to be removed also.
So fun! I added five of my favorites to the list. I'll join the challenge too, but I have some major life changes going on and don't want to set a goal yet :-)
I've added 5 to the list ...
Now I'll go and vote for book already on the list that I'd recommend :0)
@Karina- Added you! Welcome to the group (:@Natalie- Thanks for the info! I've added you on here as well. I thought the same thing with my goal. I knew I liked about 7 so I rounded up a bit. I'm sure there will be more great books added later.
@Jodi- I don't know why but I usually read less in summer even if I am off...
@Sharon- Thanks for letting me know Sharon! I'll see what I can do. Added you on here.
@Nathaly- Welcome to the challenge!
@Kaitlin- That's alright Kaitlin! Let me know if you do set a goal later on (:

I like the sound of this, but like some of the others, I'll just wait to see what other challenges I'd like to join before I commit to a number.

@Erika- Awesome! You are killing two birds with one stone (writing that down that saying sounds messed up :P)

Our group has its very own Listopia! Each member can add up to five books to the list but can vote for as many already on the list as he or she would like. Note: if a book is not the first in a series and requires that one read the previous book(s) first, please do not add it to the list. Books read for group reads will automatically be added.
For this challenge, set a goal for how many of these books you would like to read. You know they'll be good because your fellow reading challengers have recommended them!
I'll be moderating this 2014 yearly challenge. I can't wait to get started with everyone!
