I am with you. Shelf. Shelf. Shelf
D.A. - barely here ☺ - wrote: "I'm shutting up except on my team thread; obviously not everyone is welcome on this one."Hi, Debbie. There is absolutely no need to avoid threads within our group. All threads are open to all members - always. [Well, unless it's locked to new comments ;)]
Everyone feels strongly about things. You feel strongly about making sure that not only you but everyone playing fully understands the rules of the game. Others feel strongly about not getting lost in the details and racing to read - thereby negating the need to worry about the possibility of falling from the game.
As always, we, the mods, welcome and encourage open discussion, questions and concerns regarding any part of our group, including our games and challenges.
If you (or any member) need clarification, it's never a problem to ask. I think the tension began to rise when it appeared your questions were answered but remained unresolved.
Of course, if you still have questions you are welcome to post them. If you feel uncomfortable asking questions on this thread or any other, please feel free to send me a PM.
Let's all take a breath and enjoy the game.
This question just came to mind, but will cozy mysteries work for the new2me series? I was thinking of reading
once I'm done with my romance genre book.
Yep, that works Amy. Any new2you series is OK.And I agree with Steph, everyone is welcome to post comments, request clarification, stamp dance or chant for shelves :D
Question - the rewind shelf - does the book just have to have someone that shelved it as one of those years listed?
Scratch my question in #214 - duh - I figured it out. Published in that year. Helps if I take a minute to read the whole thing, lol
Sandra wrote: "No Melissa, the book must be originally published (ie first published) in one of those years."got it thanks!
Josie wrote: "Hope it's a shelf that I can read
for, since it's just arrived in the post! :D"I wanted to read it too but it doesn't fit any!!! oh why! I'll probably just go ahead and read it anyway. I've had it for a while and can't wait anymore.

Yes, it was, Sandra. :) Great company and brand, way better pay than I had at my previous job, good vacation policy. I still can't believe it!
Also, I'm starting on mid-December so I'll be able to make it to my cousin's weddding in the DR without being worried I'll be missing on an interview!
The best part is that I'll
