Call for Nomination for Mystery Poll

It is a 1951 detective novel concerning a modern police officer's investigation into the alleged crimes of King Richard III of England. It was the last book Tey published in her lifetime, shortly before her death.
I'm nominating it because:
- it was voted number one in The Top 100 Crime Novels of All Time list by the UK Crime Writers' Association in 1990.
- In 2012, Peter Hitchens wrote that The Daughter of Time was "one of the most important books ever written".
- I've had it on my "to read" shelf for ages and it would be great to read along with others :-)

Franky wrote: "I'd like to nominate another of Christie's well known mysteries, Murder at the Vicarage, another in the Miss Marple series. I've had it on my to-read list for awhile."
So much Christie, 3 more to go
So much Christie, 3 more to go
I'm going to nominate Motherless Brooklyn; a homage to the classic detective novel about a PI who suffers from Tourettes
