Alex smiled and rested her head against him as they danced, "I love you too, but the offer is still open."

"And now its closed. I dont want anyone else." Max said.
Alex looked up at him, "No one? I must be doing something right then."
"Youre doing everything right." Max said.
She blushed slightly, "So are you."
Max smiled at her and kissed her on the forehead.
She chuckled with enjoyment and carried on dancing (or trying to)
Max started to dance better. He smiled at Alex, enjoying himself.
Alex smiled back at him, loving how happy he looked.
"I need some water." Max said.
Alex nodded and dropped her arms walking back to the bar and getting him a glass.
Max drank it and when he was done, set it down.
Alex looked around a bit and saw Daniel in the corner going over to approach them, "Max." she said nudging him.
Max looked over at a guy approaching them. "Whos that?" He asked.
"Him." Max growled. He clenched his fists.
Daneil came over with a smirk, "Wanna dance?" he asked with a smirk.
"Im fine thanks." Alex replied, "This is Max."
"Im fine thanks." Alex replied, "This is Max."
Alex looked up at Max nervously whilst Daniel looked him over, "Aren't you too old?" he asked cynically.
"No." Max said. He clenched and unclenched his fists.
Daniel smirked, "Calm down. I only was asking. But consider it. Are you really right for her?"
"Daniel." Alex snapped.
"Daniel." Alex snapped.
"I am, but you are not." Max said, angrily.
Daniel held his hands up, "Capm down tough guy. Im just being sociable. "
Daniel winked at Alex as he walked off and she stormed, pushing him by his shoulders.
Max took Alex's hand and walked away with her.
She let out breath and through her head back, swearing.
Alex frowned, "Im going to my hotel room and getting some different clothed on." she said standing up, "Maybe something I can foght someone in.'' she then muttered.
"Ok." Max said. He started to walk out with her.
She went up to the room and grabbed some jeans, shirt and boots and went to get dressed in the bathroom.
A few minutes later she came out, her face clean of make up.
"Ok. Are we going back to the reception?" Max asked.
"Sure." she saod tying her laces.
She took his hand and went back down.
Max walked down with her, curious about her new attire.
As soon as she got down she stormed over to Daniel.
"Alex!" Gavin called running over.
She punched Daniel in the jaw and stared down at him, "Talk to Max like that again and I swear I will hit you again."

"Alex. Alex dont do that. Not at Gavin's reception." Max said to her, pulling her back. "Anytime but now I wouldnt stop you." He murmured in her ear.
She fumed with anger but looked up at Max and softened, "Okay. Another time."
"Yeah." Max said, gently pulling her away.
She walked away from him, Daniel recovering and Gavin coming over to Alex.
''Your knuckles are bleeding." he said.
"They're fine."

Max wiped some of the blood off them with a napkin.
