"Two tickits for that movie." He said to the person selling tickets. He handed them the tickets and they walked in the the movie theater.

She walked in and sat at their seats, nervously tapping on her leg.
"Why are you so nervous?" Max asked her. Her wrapped an arm around her back.
"Um..." she started to say rested her head near his, "I get scared easily."
"Promise? Because if I don't I'm going to be very disappointed."
Max didnt answer, but smiled at her. The movie started.
She leaned on his shoulder and watched it.
Max leaned his head against hers.
She squeezed his hand whenever a scary bit came and kept biting her lip. By the time the movie was older she had ended up biting it so much is had split.
"See I told you it was great." Max said. He had a suspicion he would be having nightmares this week.
"Yeah." she laughed nervously, "I'm loving the whole horror thing."
Max smiled. "Now lets get you home before Gavin realizes you were gone." Max said.

"Ok then." Max said. They walked out and he opened the car door for Alex.

After the drive she went inside with her keys and Gavin rushed over , "Where have you been?" he yelled but wrapped his arms round her.
"Oh no." Max muttered. He walked over toward Gavin.
"Where did you take her?" Gavin demanded, "And you didn't leave a note?"
"Calm down." Alex said, "He just took me to the movies because I wanted to see this film."
"Calm down." Alex said, "He just took me to the movies because I wanted to see this film."
"No. I took her out on a date." Max said. "Im sorry."
Gavin started to fume, "You. Did. What?" he hissed.
"Gavin why dont we all sit down." Max said leading him inside.
Gavin followed holding Alex by the wrist and sat down, "She's sixteen Max,you're twenty three."
"Gavin, I have no intention to hurt Alex. It will be fine." Max said smoothly.
Gavin looked over at Alex and sighed, "You haven't... have you?"
Max waited for Gavins response.
Gavin looked Max's face over, "You promise me you will look after her?"
"I promise." Max said staring into his eyes.
Gavin stands up and Veronica comes in, "Thank God you're back!" she said.
"Hi Vee.'' Alex says. Gavin looks over at Max and Alex, " I need to think about it." then both of them walk out leaving Alex and Max.

"Ok that was interesting." Max said.
Alex let a sigh out, "He hasn't chucked you out. That's good."
"Yeah. He seems to be considering it." Max said.
"He would have done it by now." she said trying to convince herself, "He trusts you. And he's in a good mood."
"Good." Max said. He was nervous. Very nervous.
Alex walked over to him and sat next to him, wrapping her arms around his waist, "It'll be okay. He will let us see each other."
"What if he doesn't?" Max asked.
She thought for a moment, "I don't know..."
Max just waited for Gavin to come back and put his arm around Alex.
He came in and sat down, rubbing his hands together, "I trust you, man. I can roll with this but I want some rules. You make sure I'm here if you both are and Alex is the only one allowed in her room."
Alex let out relived breath and hurried her head in his neck for a moment before hugging Gavin, "Thank you." she said then returned back to Max, smiling at him.
"Thanks Gavin." Max said. He stood up.
Alex stayed sat down and looked over at Gavin, "You're lucky I'm in a good mood." he muttered and walked to the kitchen.
Max smiled. "Did you propose yet?" He asked.
Max shook his head and put a finger to his lips with a smirk. Outside he had set up a candled dinner table where Veronica was sat with a book.
Max smiled at him. "Good luck." He said in a quiet voice.
Gavin latter his back, "Don't let Alex come out for like... ten minutes. She will give it away." he looked at him and walked outside to Veronica.
Max nodded and sat back down.
Alex grabbed her camera and snuck to the windows.
