"Yeah." Max said. He smiled at her. "Will you please tell me what happened."
She inhaled sharply, "I... got into some trouble..."
"What sort of trouble?" Max asked.
She looked away from him, "Bad people..."
"Here, why dont you just tell me the whole story." Max said, he sat down.
She sat down opposite him, "After you broke up with me I snuck out that night and to be truthful I don't remember most of the night. But I did have some memories and someone paid me to do something for then but I didn't and then on the way back from school a few weeks ago they jumped me."
Max frowned. "Did you go out because I broke up with you?" Max asked.
"Ah man." Max said. "Does Gavin know?"
She shook her head, "He dosnt even know I snuck out."
Alex looked at him, "I'm sorry... maybe I should go..." She thought he was mad at her.
"No dont go." Max said. He looked at her a bit pleadingly. He didnt want anything else to happen to her.
"I didn't mean to be immature and clingy. I understand if...if you don't want to get back together."
"No I do I really do." Max said.
Alex looked at the floor, "Are you sure?"
"Yes." Max said. He pulled her in for a kiss.
She kissed him and pulled him close, savouring each moment.

She ran a hand through his hair, "I'm tired..." she whispered.

"Me too." Max said. He walked into the bedroom.
She followed him and quickly checked her phone.
Max started to make a bed on the floor. "The bed's all yours." he told Alex.
She looked at the bed, "Come in too... I don't mind."
"Umm... alright." Max said. He climbed into the bed and waited for Alex to get in too.
She climbed in and smiled lightly.
Max felt a little weird, but didn't say anything.
Alex felt a little nervous and turned to face him, laughing slightly, "This is... cosy?" she giggled.
Max laughed. "Sure is." He said, turning to face her too.
She leaned over and kissed his cheek before shutting her eyes, "I will go back home tomorrow."
"Ok." max said. He fell asleep quickly.

Alex opened her eyes slowly and looked around.
Max was out of bed and dressed.
She sat up and looked around, "Max?"
Max came in from the other room. "Yeah Alex?" he asked.
She let out a breath of relief, "I thought you were gone..."
"No. I would never leave you." Max said. He sat down at the foot of the bed.
She smiled at him and pushed a hair behind her ear.
"I made breakfast." Max said.
"Thanks." she said and got up.
Max brought in a plate of scrambled eggs. "I already ate." he told her.
"You should have woken me." she said, "I would have been out your way." she began to eat.
"I didn't want to. You looked so peaceful." Max said.
