"I'll go now!" he immediately got up and started gathering stuff.
Liddy nods and watches him as he runs around, grabbing stuff.

He began to put all the stuff he grabbed in a suitcase.
Liddy facepalmed. "She's gonna hate me." she mumbled between her fingers.
"Come on! Let's go!" he exclaimed, grabbing her arm and pulling her outside.
Liddy yelped but followed him anyways.
He got into his car after throwing his bag in the trunk and shutting it.
Liddy got into her own car, buckling up.
He buckled up and started the car.
Liddy turned on her car and started driving.
He arrived at the house and got out of the car quickly.
Rise heard a car door shut and thought it was Liddy.
He ran up to the house and knocked on the door.
Rise walked to the door and opened it. Expecting to see Liddy. She stood stunned for a moment. "A-Alex...what are you doing...here?"
"Why didn't you tell me?" He breathed.
"Tell you wh-" Rise cursed. "Dang it, Liddy. She told you didn't she?" she asked angrily.
"Why wouldn't you tell me?" He exclaimed, hurt in his eyes. "I'm your best friend!"
"I didn't want to stop you from chasing your dream! You have been talking about that since middle school and you got a chance! I just would've either slowed you down or stopped you completely." Rise said.

"Of course not. It can wait! Why? I deserved to know," he breathed, his hanss clenched to fists.
"Yes, you did." she said, looking away.
He wrapped his arms around her and huggd her tightly.
He hugged her tighter. "I can't lose you," he whispered.

"There's nothing I can do, Alex. I'm going to die." she said.

Rise sighed and looked away. Tears streaming down her face.
Rise hated he had to find out like this.
"It's not your fsult," his voice broke.
Rise pulled away from him. "Yes, it is."
He shook his head wildly. "It's that goddamn disease!"
"Sure! And do you know how many times.they have lowered my life expectancy? When I was 4 they said I would live until I was 70-75. Now look where I am!"
