He hugged her and then pulled back. 'You okay? You seem a little pale?"
"I'm already pale." she said.
He shook his head again. "No... you look sick."
Rise was afraid he'd found out. "I'm fine."
"Are you ill?" He asked gently, feeling her temperature.
"Oh, well, that's good," he said softly.
((Ugggggggggh. Stupid iPod. It posted twice. Just ignore that post.))

"No." she said shaking her head.

((Yeah, it's weird))Alex glared at her. "You are Ri? Aren't you?"
"No. I'm not." Rise said. She didn't want to keep him from his dream.
((Sowwy!))"You are Rise, I know you," he said slowly.
"I'm not hiding anything!" Rise exclaimed.
"You are! Why don't you just tell me," his face softened. "You know you can trust me."
"No..." she said more to herself then him. He wasn't supposed to find out, she said to herself. Rise buried her head in her hands and cried silently.
His whole demeanor fell when she started crying and he huggged her tightly. "Oh Rise, what's wrong?"
"I'm going to die." she whispered.
"What?" he blinked rapidly. What did she say?((Should she tell him, like he hasn't heard right now, or should she keep it to herself? And other one?))
((Your turn. Not mine. I checked. I'd like to have him go chase his dream and find out some other way. Like a friend of them both.))

Rise shook her head. "I said 'I'm not going to cry...anymore." she lied.
He rubbed her back softly, soothingly. "Hey, it's okay."
Rise bit her lip. She was going to miss him.
"What's the matter?" he asked gently.
"Nothing. I'm just really tired." Rise said.
"Oh, well, there's no need to cry. You have me," he grinned at her.
Rise giggled lightly at his grin.
He smiled, glad to have cheered her up. "Are you laughing at me?" he glared playfully.
"I think you are," he got a mischievous look in his eyes.
Rise closed her mouth but she was shaking with laughter. She shook her head.
He grinned mischievously at her and began to tickle her.
He tickled her more. "Don't laugh at me again, woman!" he teased.
Rise laughed louder. "Stop!" she exclaimed.
He grinned and shook his head. "Only if you say sorry!"
He grinned and pulled away. "Okay."
Rise sat there and caught her breath. "Meanie." she said before jumping off and running.
He gasped and ran after her. "Oh no, you didn't!"
Rise yelped and kept running.
He laughed and followed her, giving her a head start.
Rise stopped to catch her breath.
Rise hugged him back, hoping he didn't notice her appearance.
