I saw it with my sister when it first came out. It is lovely, but I'm sure the book has a lot more. Can't wait to read it and watch the movie again. It's been a while, so some of it I already forgot.

Clarissa, or, the History of a Young Lady is 1,534 pages long and composed of 537 letters. With so much else to read in 2015, I think I'll start in January and make a point to read at least 60 pages (or 20 letters) a week, which would stretch it over 6 months.

Does that seem like a good schedule for you?

July 1st is correct. For the Let's Turn Pages challenge, members are setting up quarterly buddy reads of very long books, so we're thinking super far ahead this year!

This one sounds like fun and I was able to pick up The Pillars of the Earth for $3.00 yesterday, so I'll join in too.

I saw that The Pillars of the Earth is mark for July. But I already have a copy of Fall of Giants that I really want to read.... But nevertheless I will see how is my schedule for July to see if I can also join that discussion.

Caro, I have Fall of Giants that I was supposed to read last year. I could buddy read with you. I most likely can't do it this month though because I have two library books I have to read first.
