That is totally cool! I didn't know you could do that. Is there a time limit that you have the book, or it's yours permanently?

Thanks for sharing this tip!

Awesome... thanks for sharing! I'll be sure to keep my eye out for that tab in the future!

Sallie(GeorgiaGirl) (shuga) | 1190 comments This is for Christina~
Fire: Fire people are impassioned and devoted lovers, and may tend toward flamboyant romantic gestures. Pick a book with a strong and/or stubborn character, someone who is determined to end up with The One and doesn’t take no for an answer. Or choose a book with a red, yellow or orange cover or with fire on the cover.
1. Magic Rises, ilona andrews (so looking forward to reading this one myself, this is a fav series of mine)
2. Artemis Fowl, eoin colfer (this is on my to-read again shelf

Water: Romance comes naturally to Water people; they give and receive love easily. Recommend a book that has a sweet and loving story. Or pick a book with a dark blue cover or one that has water on the cover.
1. A Discovery of Witches, deborah harknes (loved this book - vampires & witches what could be better?)
2. A Secret Wish, barbara freethy (water on the cover, I havent read this one but it looks & sounds promising)

Air: Since commitment doesn't come naturally to Air they can have difficulty in relationships. Choose an angsty and/or emotional book. Or recommend a book with a white or light blue cover or a book with a blue sky on the cover.
1. Shiver, maggie stiefvater (really liked this series also)
2. Rising Tides, nora roberts (NR has been a fav author of mine for a lot of years)

Earth: The Earth person commits readily, they don’t experience much conflict when choosing to commit, and may not see it as having negative aspects. Recommend a book with little conflict, something light and easy. Or a book with a brown or green cover or a book with any landscape on the cover.
1. Opal Fire, barbara annino (this looked cute)
2. Fools Rush In, janie thompson (this one looks like it would be a fun read)

Mimmy (roxym) | 208 comments Hi Leslie!

Your shelves are super organized and our book interests overlap a lot. I think we've read most of the same authors and series!

Fire: Seeing Red Firefighter #3 by Jill Shalvis Twice Tempted by Jeaniene Frost or The Firebird by Susanna Kearsley Gold by Chris Cleave.

Water: Hard Evidence I-Team #2 by Pamela Clare or Beautiful Ruinsby Jess Walter. (I love the I-Team series!)

Air: The Ghost Brideby Yangsze Choo The Last Letter from Your Lover JoJo Moyes or Hotshot by Julie Garwood. I'm planning to read both Ghost and Hotshot this month. Last is one of my favorite books.

Earth: And One Last Thing by Molly Harper, The Last Boyfriend Inn Boonsboro Trilogy# 2 by Nora Roberts, The School of Essential Ingredients by Erica Bauermeister. I noticed that you didn't love the Molly Harper book that you read, but I think this is a quick and funny read. School was just sweet and sentimental. The sequel is coming soon, which made me remember this book.

LMK what you think and happy reading!

Seeing Red (Firefighter, #3) by Jill Shalvis Twice Tempted (Night Prince, #2) by Jeaniene Frost The Firebird by Susanna Kearsley Gold by Chris Cleave Hard Evidence (I-Team, #2) by Pamela Clare Beautiful Ruins by Jess Walter The Ghost Bride by Yangsze Choo The Last Letter from Your Lover by Jojo Moyes Hotshot (Buchanan-Renard #11) by Julie Garwood And One Last Thing ... by Molly Harper The Last Boyfriend (Inn BoonsBoro, #2) by Nora Roberts The School of Essential Ingredients by Erica Bauermeister

message 262: by Amy J. (new)

Amy J. | 349 comments Here they are Ashley. I hope you can find something you want to read on this list. We don't have a lot of books in common, so I had to go off the covers for many of the books on your TBR. For each category there's two TBR picks and one new choice. Happy reading!

Fire:
TBR -- Men of the Otherworld (Otherworld Stories, #1) by Kelley Armstrong OR Fire (Graceling Realm, #2) by Kristin Cashore , which I'd b willing to do a buddy read on. I just didn't get to read it this month like I planned.

New-- Envy by Sandra Brown

Water:
TBR-- Outlander (Outlander, #1) by Diana Gabaldon OR Mine Till Midnight (The Hathaways, #1) by Lisa Kleypas

New-- One Dance with a Duke (Stud Club, #1) by Tessa Dare

Air:
TBR-- Rush (Breathless, #1) by Maya Banks OR Unlovable (Port Fare, #1) by Sherry Gammon

New-- Dangerous Cravings (Dangerous Cravings, #1) by Evangeline Anderson

Earth:
TBR-- Insurgent (Divergent, #2) by Veronica Roth OR Deadly Little Lessons (Touch, #5) by Laurie Faria Stolarz

New-- Mr. Darcy's Diary (Jane Austen Heroes, #1) by Amanda Grange - for my fellow Austen Fan. Really any book in the Diary series could work here.

message 263: by ~Leslie~ (new)

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) | 1934 comments Hi Roxy!! Great picks - I'm having a hard time narrowing them down. I'm actually going to choose more than I usually do!

I was just talking about reading this earlier today on GR, so I will definitely be reading The Firebird by Susanna Kearsley
And I'm really interested in The Ghost Bride by Yangsze Choo and it's available at the library, so I think I will read this one as well. I'd be happy to do it as a buddy read, if you are interested.

I'm also going to read The Last Boyfriend (Inn BoonsBoro, #2) by Nora Roberts I checked it out from the library last month then never got around to it. I'll try again.
And finally I'm desperate to continue with the I-Team series, so I think I will also read Hard Evidence (I-Team, #2) by Pamela Clare
All the others look really good and have been added to my TBR!!
Thanks again for the picks!! I will let you know what I think.

Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night by Kresley Cole- Now I noticed that you did not like the first book in this series and I completely agree. New: Dangerous Refuge A Novel by Elizabeth Lowell

Water From You Frog by Mary Calmes New One Good Earl Deserves a Lover (The Rules of Scoundrels, #2) by Sarah MacLean (I read these out of order; I don't think it matters and this book is a stitch)

Air: From you And One Last Thing ... by Molly Harper I bought this as an audio because I liked the job the narrator had done on another book. I planned to listen to it on our vacation drive when my husband was asleep. He woke up, thought it was hysterical and finished the entire thing with me. That's a little embarrassing to say the least. New Courting Greta by Ramsey Hootman or Lick (Stage Dive, #1) by Kylie Scott which I read before Flesh above and really liked.
