pg 226 OH SHIT (view spoiler)[At first I think it's a part of the faint pattern on the knife, but these marks are on top of the blood. They look black, thick and textured. I try to remember what the knife looked like on the night it happened, when I had a chance to look at it myself.

These black marks look like rifle grease. almost like the streak of grease that was on Thomas's forehead when I first saw him that night. ,,, SEE I knew it! I vaguely remembered that part in the book! (hide spoiler)]

After testing them on the slums, they prick the ppl still alive and cure them, and than they do it over and over and over.

Finished... I remember why I enjoy this book so much. Lately I've been rereading the first book in series to continue on and finish them, and everyone I've found to be disappointing. I was worried rereading this I wouldn't enjoy it as much as the first time, but I did, I really did.

This book is sad, and a struggle, and I am hurting right now. Time for bed, but I'll be picking up the second one tomorrow!

Also I do agree that they don't give us enough info on the world. I do think they give you more than a lot of other books in this genre, but I need more details! (hide spoiler)]
