42. Yes, she wasn't nearly as traumatized as one would expect. She merely carries on with her teen angst as if nothing happened. Not realistic.
43. I trust Lily but not Maeve. It is a case of allying with an enemy when you have a common goal but once the issue is resolved, the alliance dissolves as well.
44. I was actually thinking that if Murphy leaves the force then she could become the third Knight of the Cross - she can't do both. She could also be with Harry if she wasn't ham-stringed by her obligations to the police.
45. The way this played out wasn't all that surprising to me. There was a point when I thought Molly was directing the Fetches to Rosie and Nelson because she was jealous of them.
I think that Mouse was growling at Molly because he sensed her use of black magic on Rosie and Nelson even though her motives were more or less pure.
46. Absolutely. That Merlin is an egotistical jerk. What kind of person is willing to kill a child to appease his own pride? He does not deserve to be the head of the White Council.
47. That conversation was really interesting. Yes, I think that Michael's sword is the Sword in the Stone or Excalibur depending on which version of the Arthurian legend you go with.
What shocked me wasn't the fact that Michael new about Lasciel but that he implies he is going to die! That would mean being two Knights of the Cross down. Harry is going to have to find someone to give the sword to soon.
48. I'm leaning toward divine intervention although I don't like that possibility. I'm not a fan of Deus Ex machina.
49. I was kind of creeped out by that scene and kept saying no,no,no! I really hope that nothing comes of this - Molly and Harry together is ... *shudder*
50. Nope! Great questions ShoSho. Thanks.

#44.Hmm good point.
#47.no I don't think he meant that he's going to die. Harry asked him if it was like Shiro situation and he said no.that it was a hunch. He think he's going to get retired without dying.
#49.rest assured, Gisela said nothing would happen

42. I htink that both Lily and Maeve are being manipulated by some new power (the Black Council as Harry calls them). Should be interesting things to come...
43. The possibilities were really interesting - I wonder which one will come to pass. I thought the one of Molly as a scarred warden was great and if she takes a similar path as Harry (which is likely as he is now her mentor), it might be the one that she ends up being although her mother would want her to be the happy, smiling motherly possibility.
44. I don't think that Ramirez is the traitor - he simply doesn't know enough. Ramirez and Molly would be a much more palatable option than Molly and Harry.
45. The Order of the Silver Oak - I love the names that Butcher comes up for things.
Looking forward to seeing how Morgan and Harry use their charm. Lily must have done some serious convincing to get Titania to reward Harry.
46. I think the Gatekeeper was stalling the Merlin because he knew that Ebenezer and crew were on their way - he has the power to see the future after all.
47. Molly needs some serious discipline and she also needs to learn that her actions have consequences. Hopefully, she will come to realize this and won't get Harry killed.
I do think that the Merlin may put obstacles in Molly's path to see if he can get to Harry.
48. I was thinking the same thing when Michael said Harry would have to give up his magic to rid himself of Lasciel. Who would mentor Molly if Harry did that? I guess it is just Michael being selfless - he wants what is best for Harry even though his daughter may suffer.
49. Molly's attempt at seduction was a little bit on the pathetic side and I would not have thought highly of Harry had he succumbed. Really hope this doesn't go anywhere!
50. Not unexpected but so unfair. Murphy does an excellent job at SI. I wonder what kind of leader Stallings will be and if he will also ask Harry for help now and then.
51. Based on what Thomas said, it seems that Murphy is in denial and there is still hope for her and Harry ... I certainly hope so too.
52. As I said in answer to ShoSho's question - divine intervention although I hope not.
53. I'm going with Ancient Mai as the traitor. She gives me the heebie jeebies.
So glad that Ebenezer and Harry are mending fences.
One last thought, Charity is still annoying me! Harry saved her daughter's life twice and she barely says thank you. So ungrateful!!!

#43.Yes it'd be interesting to know which one of them will come to pass.I don't think she'd be warden though.
#52. It makes it uninteresting if it is divine intervention!
Yep I still don't like Charity either.

I want to know your predictions and speculations on Lasciel. What do you think will happen between Harry and her? Will Harry give up his magic?

No he won't give up his magic , but(big spoiler ahead !LK and Lauren ,don't read ) (view spoiler)

Yep , the good thing is I don't know which book or how !

I don't think Harry will give up his magic but something will happen to remove Lasciel from the picture - don't know what exactly.

#44 – Oh! Very good point.
#47 – Yes, a little freaky that Michael thought/knew of his death. …just read ShoSho’s response… now I’m going to have to go back and reread that section, because I’m confused. I thought he thought he was going to die.
#49 – (At ShoSho via way of Lauren) That’s a relief.
#45 (second set) – Yes, I hope Lily doesn’t owe Titania anything. **gulp**
#46 – I think he was stalling for that reason, too.
#48 – Pretty selfless!
#50 – Yes, Stallings should prove interesting.

LOL! Very true!
And I am NOT clicking on that spoiler, either. I’ve had enough things spoiled in this series.

“Michael?” I asked. “Did the, uh, office send you a memo?” I carefully didn’t say Like they did with Shiro.
“No. Instinct,” he said, and smiled at me. “But I suppose I could be beginning my midlife crisis. But I’m not planning to change the way I live my life, and I certainly have no intention of an early retirement.”
