Love paella.

I pulled into a parking spot on the north shore. Fewer campers over there. After shutting off the engine I turned to her. “Welcome to Lake Tahoe.”
And for SOLDIER,

Both would work.

Nachos definitely. I had to look up paella since I've never heard of it. It looks more like a food from Spain than Mexico so I am going with no unless you can site a reference otherwise.

Can you find a source that says paella is Mexican not Spanish?

Campers is a little off center but it does imply there is a camp site so if that is all you can find I'll take it.
high ranking military official would again be a little off from a soldier. But Generals, and Colonels are soldiers that have moved up the ranks so I'll take it.
I think undercover military operation is a bit too vague for soldier.

Thanks,

In this tense yes I'll take them, since it is an actual physical ball. And the cover looks definately like a ball.

Yup. However, you can't claim a hot beverage this week it and baby are both winter items.

I would need context to know for sure. Buggy can be a general term for a lightweight car. It could be a baby buggy, which is not a vehicle. Or it could be horse and buggy which I would take. I think dune buggy could be classified as not quite a car too.
