If you can't listen live the episodes are available to listen to online. Not sure if this will be of interest, but I thought it might be worth mentioning! The link

I'm a bit addicted to radio 4 I'm afraid!

Thanks again for this great link.
Hello! My name's Cheyanne, and I'm new to this site and new to this group! I work a lot and really need an outlet to connect to people, even if it's only online. I love to read (I've read way more than what I have currently listed). The only genre I don't care for is erotica.I am currently reading Ragtime, City Sticks: A Collection of 50 Poems, and Memoirs of a Geisha.
I'm looking forward to making friends here and sharing my love for all things literary!
- Cheyanne
Welcome Cheyanne! :)
I really enjoyed Ragtime, a fascinating imaginative mix of different historical figures.

Thank-you for the welcome, Greg! I'm going to read a little more of Ragtime before I go to bed. I'm loving the picture it's painting of early 20th century America!
Hi everyone, I'm Luffy and I hope to invigorate my flagging interest in reading by joining this group. I used to read a lot of cozies. But I want to diversify. Have a nice day.
Erica wrote: "Hi Suzanne, welcome! I've just come back from a holiday in Sydney and Canberra visiting rellies...I'm a kiwi myself. Any aussie authors you particularly recommend?"Oh I'm so rude missing these welcomes. I will recommend a few! Graeme Simsion
Alice Pung, Vicki TyleyVicki Tyley, Liane Moriarty. If you have any questions please ask!
Hi Folks, I'm Kim. I joined this group (and goodreads) to help expand my horizons on what I like to read. I mainly read urban fantasy, but am always looking for new suggestions.I try to read as much as I can, but life always gets in the way.
Welcome Kim! Who is your favorite in the urban fantasy genre? Does Charles de Lint fit in that category - he might fit there. I do like his work, especially The Onion Girl.
Welcome everyone! Luffy, this group will help you diversify your reading. There are such interesting books being read. We all need more time in our days just to keep up. :D

My favorite is Kelley Armstrong. I stumbled upon a book of hers at a used bookstore and couldn't put it down. Her Otherworld series has been turned into a TV series, Bitten. Its just been renewed for a 3rd season.
I've heard of The Onion Girl, but never had the chance to read it. Perhaps I'll give it a shot now. Thanks for the recommendation!
How funny Kim, by coincidence I've been watching that TV show on the Syfy channel. Perhaps I'll try one of the books when I get a chance. :)
I'm Kaushani and I'm in India. I love almost every kind of book, I'll give anything a try if the story is interesting! I would like to try expanding into more online discussions with like-minded readers. I like the format and hope to start getting involved in a few of the group reads. Looking forward to chatting with you!
Hi everyone, I'm Hayes. I'm new to this site, and after a couple of mornings of exploring all the different groups and what they have to offer, I decided that yours was the one for me. Woohoo!I see that the group's location is marked Italy. Well, even though I've lived in Florida all my life, I have a special place in my heart for Italians. A few years ago I worked as a teaching professional at a junior golf academy in Sarasota. One of my students was a member of the Italian National team. Every time we went out for food, he ordered the same drink: "Sprite, no ice." I can still hear that accent!
I'll spend the next few days writing as many reviews as I can for the books on my bookshelf, and reading some of your older threads. I'll wait for the June books before joining any of the discussions. Can't wait!
Welcome Hayes! We are a pretty international bunch but English is the language of the group (thank goodness or I would be in trouble!).Please don't feel that you have to wait for a new discussion or book to join in. If you have read books we have read in the past (or are currently reading), please do add in your 2¢ worth :)

Thanks for the welcome, Leslie. I'll search around for something that I can't screw up with my own comments.
Btw, I looked at your bookshelf...good Lord, there're over 2300 books on there! That's awesome! I tried to think of all the books I've ever read when I joined a few days ago. I know I'm missing a bunch, but even so, I'm nowhere near your total.
I'm such a noob!
Welcome Kim, Kaushani and Hayes! Hope you will soon feel "at home" in the group, and please feel free to join in the discussions!
Welcome Hayes! Itlay comes out simply because I was the one to open the group materially, but we've always been a group of international moderators - Italian, German, English, Canadian, USA ... so English is of course the language common to all.
Hope yuo'll find plenty of threads to interest you: we're about to choose uour next group0 reads: give them a look!

I have always been a fast reader and I have been reading for a lot of years! But it isn't a competition - what is important is to be enjoying your reading, whatever the pace or type of book.
