Julia (juliace) So, BF and I have been discussing how we want to redecorate / design our house. We want to put new flooring and baseboards throughout the house and have been talking about different applications we want to use.
This morning while we were out at breakfast we agreed to do terrazzo flooring through the whole house. I think it's going to be very labor intensive, but I LOVE terrazzo and I think it will be well worth it when it's finished.
I've attached a link of some images of what terrazzo looks like, I think it's beautiful!

Not sure if you all are aware but thought I would share and let you k ow about Overdrive. As long as you have a library card, this app allows you yo borrow books from the library onto your phone/Kindle/Nook/iPad. This will definitely help fuel my book addiction without breaking my bank.

I just started reading the book series The Hollow Trilogy by Jessica Verday. Has anyone read the series, I have a question, but don't want to put spoliers unless you have read it.

Eve (arweneve) Hello! So, I have this group called Potterheads Unite, and it's my absolute favorite role playing group. It's for all Harry Potter fans, and you don't have to know a whole lot about HP. Me and my friend Grace are trying to throw a Yule Ball in honor of several of our most beloved members coming back, and we don't quite have enough active members and characters. It would be much appreciated if you swung by and checked it out. Thank you!

message 14874: by Anna (new)

Anna | 7 comments Hello everyone!
I read Collective Mind book and wondered one question. According to the book every person can sell creativity from their brain
and ask for that everything they want.. money, house and so on.
But the rest of their life spend like "a vegetable". And it's becoming a popular trend!
Many people live a wealthy life.
So I wonder what will be your choose? Money or creative?

message 14875: by Shine (new)

Shine Syamaladevi Hi everyone, I am Shine, am new to the group.

Hi Anna, I feel that having creativity is above everything in this world. It's the most valuable present one can have. Then, creativity attracts wealth by itself.

message 14878: by Floreadsalot (new)

Floreadsalot | 1 comments I have tried this a couple times, hopefully I can get some response. I have been trying to find a book I read several years ago. Shifter, wolves. A woman wolf finds her mate, he rejects her because she is overweight and is not his typical. He is pulled to her and eventually seduces her in the shower (she wasa virgin, he feels it was his anyway)I think and right after rejects her. She finds comfort with a best friend even though its just friends andwishes he could have been her mate. I cannot remember the title or anything else. Suggestions anyone....

message 14879: by Taylor (new)

Taylor Miner | 68 comments so I just read this summary of a book called touched: caress of fate and it goes something like "after werewolves, vampires and fallen angles there's this new race of angel that lures you into their dark depths. gemma is an angel of destiny and Evans is an angel of death." and this had me thinking. I dont think that I've read a book where the girl is some dark and mysterious paranormal entity and the boy is something of light and greatness. Can you name any books like this?

Henk Ensing | 1 comments Hi. I'd like to check kindle books for swearing before I buy them. For Movies I use IMDB and check the 'Parents Guide: View content advisory »'. What can I do for books? I don't like obscene language, or any profanity. I'd like to know what is in it before I buy the new book. Can you recommend a place on the internet where book content like sex, swareing etc are listed so I can make an informed purchase?
