Have you ever watched the BBC show Murdoch Mysteries? It is one of my favorites. Sherlock is a great show as well.

I've tried to watch the one where he looks young. And the pretty lady he likes. But only watched it a cpl times and could not get into it. Nor the one on main TV. Lucy Lui I think?
I'll stick with the books until a good show comes out.

I like paranormal, cozy mysteries, and historical fiction and steampunk!! What do you like?

Omg what is steampunk?! Sounds awesome. I <3 fantasy and classics. I never venture out into different genres though i probably should. I'm reading up all of my lovely books in my house so I might as well read something new ^.^. Lord of the Rings Two towers is a favorite though for sure lol

I love macabre too. Just Stephen King and H.P Lovecraft. :))

Look it up on here or internet(steampunk) I like the "light" steampunk not the "heavy" steampunk. Hard to explain. Yes reach out to different genres!! I'm trying to win some books on Goodreads then do a review. I also buy books used at yard sales or thrift sales. Hope you can fin some more books to read!!

Got a question. Will electronic books take over paper binding books like albumn tapes and cd's? And how soon do you think. Book publishers out there?

From what I hear there is no way to do a count. so far it's unknown, to me books are to be cherished and taken care of now. I've seen piles of books burned by people (for other dreadful causes, not like this reason)and my heart broke and I cried. Relish your books.

Tina I am thinking we would keep books as the best way of conserving, unless our country goes into disarray? Lol I wish I had more hardcover books, now that I think about books. Hardcovers would would be a little harder to burn lololol I thought about burning one book. By HP Lovecraft because of how racist he is for no reason! Just a thought lol I like his short stories too much for that kind of talk.

I have a couple of old books from 1800's that are in terrible condition! Makes me want to cry. But I do know Library of Congress and other places have big libraries in cool dehumitified places. temp controlled.
So I'm glad about that. But it so hard for us to keep books preserved. I just hope my books are taken care of after I'm gone.
