The groundhog did see his shadow, so that means six more weeks of winter. But when do the Northern, Great Lakes, and Midwestern states not have six more weeks of winter after February second? Some of those states can see snow in early April! I don't necessarily believe the groundhog. LOL Happy Valentine's Day!According to tradition, if a groundhog comes out of its hole on this day and sees its shadow, it gets scared and runs back into its burrow, predicting six more weeks of winter weather; no shadow means an early spring.

I'm shocked that anybody would believe in the groundhog method, Kiki. Or that they would have an event to see if he sees his shadow and determine through that how many more days of winter is left.
