The Remains of the Day by Ishiguro. I recently read his Never Let Me Go and really enjoyed it. "The Remains..." won the Man-Booker prize.

Runaway Horses by Yukio Mishima. This is the 2nd book of his 4-part series called "The Sea of Fertility", translated from Japanese.

Probably my biggest reading accomplishment of 2016 was finishing that series. Enjoyable but hella long.
