Awesome like I said I read book 1 but don't remember much in terms of details and this is definitely a series that has a lot to discuss.
The name was pinging in my head for some reason, and then I remembered this kerfuffle from a little while ago.

Rob wrote: "Is anyone else reading The End of All Things?"I read it as the novellas. It wraps up the duology really well.
I'm just reading book 2 now. Hope to get to The End of All Things as soon as I can but may be a few months.
I want to read the End of All Things and I'd guess I'll start/finish it by the end of September.....I have a full plate, but that seems to be the norm. There are just so many good books!
I am currently reading the book Shadow of torturer, this book would be awesome for group read, because it is damn complex and taking lot of effort from me to complete.
I would be interested. I have already read book 1 and started book 2 but had to put it aside for other stuff. I would agree that it is complex. I would definitely reread though to get the group input.

Will october end be good for group read?
Rob wrote: "Whose in for Shadows of Self on October 6th?"Oh yeah! I'm down, been looking forward to this one
Rob wrote: "Whose in for Shadows of Self on October 6th?"For sure! Wow its been a long time since I read Alloy of Law. Is there a wiki somewhere with a nice plot summary?
Me, too! I'm finally reading The Way of Kings now and will slip in Alloy of Law before this one comes out.

I will be ready for this book, I look forward to more Wax and Wayne time.

Hmm. Looks like we're the only ones. I can create some threads if you want to do a buddy read. Right now I'm not sure when I'll start it. I have to finish Pyramids first at least.
I still haven't decided if I'm doing the S&L pick in audio or text either.
When were you planning on reading it?

I'm reading it in early November. I'm a little booked up for this month, and I haven't even started the Butcher book yet.
Any interest in doing Sullivan's Death of Dulgath? Think it's released in December, I'll probably read it around release date
I'm definitely in for that depending on timing. I just got my pdf of the book, but I'm probably wait for the audio. Which is a bit silly, since I have the hardcover coming at some point too.
I'm in for sure too. I have the pdf but I will probably wait and read it. Rob, that'll be cool that you will have potentially 3 versions!
Yeah, I'll definitely wait until I get the actual book. Not a big fan of reading the pdf. Did he confirm if the audio will be released at the same time as the print?
I'm seeing a release date of Dec 15th on Audible. I just added it to my Wish List. If you wait until then, I'll definitely join you. I have a lot to catch up with since I still have to listen to the final two books of the Revelations series before I start on the Chronicles one, but I can do it by then.
I'm in - got my PDF this morning too but i hate reading PDFs. I do love the narration so agree with all above and wait for hardcover/audio to be available. And I also need to read the prequels, soon.

My understanding is that the physical book will be out first. But I think the release will be close in time. I'd have to go back and check the updates.
I like the audio too much to read it. I wish I could have done a kickstarter option for that. Sadly that's not feasible.
He's going to give away a few copies from a contest, but I'm not optimistic I'll win. So I'll spend more on this book than pretty much any other I've ever bought. lol.

Ok, so here's the dates they posted:
ebook - November 16th
Hardcover - Dec 1st
Audio - December 15th
So for those of you planning to do the ebook or the hardcover, would you be willing to wait until the 15?
Alternatively we can have the read earlier, and those of us doing the audiobook will just have to jump into the discussion late.

Ashley, I've read The Black Company - it wasn't my favorite book ever, but I'm glad to have read it - thats a classic! I seem to recall someone else in the group read it pretty recently - at the least you could probably find a few people to discuss it with you.
