1. Unspoken (The Lynburn Legacy, #1) by Sarah Rees Brennan - This looks awesome! I want to read it too!
2. Black City (Black City, #1) by Elizabeth Richards - Of course, we're reading it! And I love the cover! :)
3. Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1) by Susan Ee - OMG! This is a great read, an extraordinary angel book!
4. Playing for Keeps (A Neighbor from Hell, #1) by R.L. Mathewson - I think this is really good, though I haven't read it yet, and I'm going to put it in my tbr! :)
5. Daughter of Smoke & Bone (Daughter of Smoke & Bone #1) by Laini Taylor - I have heard so many great things about it! I just haven't read it because it's quite long. :)
6. The Deepest Cut (MacKinnon Curse, #1) by J.A. Templeton - It looks intriguing! :)
7. Sweet Peril (The Sweet Trilogy, #2) by Wendy Higgins - of course, we're reading this one too! And I miss KAIDAN!!!
8. Yes, My Mistress by Jennifer Cole - Perfect as Y! :)
9. The Dead and Buried by Kim Harrington - Aww, the summary seems scary, I hope you'll love it! :)
10. The Scarlet Dagger (The Red Sector Chronicles #1) by Krystle Jones - It also looks intriguing, especially with that cover :)

Subsitute: Darkness Before Dawn (Darkness Before Dawn Trilogy, #1) by J.A. London - I want to read it too but I don't have the paperback yet! It seems a good vampire book!

you have to read them in order from 1 to 10. the substitute book is for if you don't like one of your books, and then you can switch it with the substitute one.

2. Vain (The Seven Deadly Series, #1) by Fisher Amelie Heard that its really good.

4. Wallbanger by Alice Clayton Seems different.

5. Falling for the Ghost of You by Nicole Christie Sounds really good.

6. Pushing the Limits (Pushing the Limits, #1) by Katie McGarry Sounds really good, and i think the cover is pretty.

7. Out of Breath (Breathing, #3) by Rebecca Donovan So you can continue the series.

8. Killing Sarai (In the Company of Killers, #1) by J.A. Redmerski Sounds really interesting.

9. Bad Things (Tristan & Danika, #1) by R.K. Lilley Why not..

10. One Tiny Lie (Ten Tiny Breaths, #2) by K.A. Tucker The cover is pretty.

3. Towering by Alex Flinn because it's a retelling of Rapunzel (and I love retellings so I want to know if it's good!)
4. The Ghost and the Goth (The Ghost and the Goth, #1) by Stacey Kade because it looks kind of funny
5. Sweet Peril (The Sweet Trilogy, #2) by Wendy Higgins because we're buddy reading this one too! :)
6. My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick because a lot of people have been talking about this book
7. Enclave (Razorland, #1) by Ann Aguirre Zombies! Enough said :)
8. Half-Blood (Covenant, #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout because it's our Group Buddy Read
9. City of Fallen Angels (The Mortal Instruments, #4) by Cassandra Clare because I haven't read this one yet and I'd like your opinion :)
10. Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson because most people I'm friends with that have read it have it on their favorites shelf
11. The Avery Shaw Experiment by Kelly Oram in case one of the other books isn't what you hoped for :)

Yes, you have to read them in order. The substitute is in case one of the books on your list is something you end up not liking, then you can use the substitute :)

We have to read them in order, but of course, there are "emergencies" along the way, so we allow to change as long as you work it out with your partner. :)

1. Shadow and Bone (The Grisha, #1) by Leigh Bardugo I thought this was great!
2. Splintered (Splintered, #1) by A.G. Howard I've wanted to read this for so long, and you'll be able to tell me what you think of it!
3. Rise of the Evening Star (Fablehaven, #2) by Brandon Mull Because Fablehaven is amazing!
4. Bridget Jones's Diary (Bridget Jones, #1) by Helen Fielding My mom keeps telling me how awesome it is...
5. The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #1) by Rick Riordan You HAVE to read this! The whole series is incredible.
6. Warm Bodies (Warm Bodies, #1) by Isaac Marion Thought we could buddy-read this one!
7. The Selection (The Selection, #1) by Kiera Cass I liked it, although it wasn't amazing, but I enjoyed it.
8. Cinder (Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer It's absolutely incredible! The second book's even better!!!!
9. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (Miss Peregrine, #1) by Ransom Riggs I'll be interested to see what you thought of it.
10. Paper Towns by John Green I'm reading this right now, and I want to know what you think of it.

1. Life As We Knew It (Last Survivors, #1) by Susan Beth Pfeffer Because I've enjoyed the series and #4 is out in August.

2. Burned (Burned, #1) by Ellen Hopkins Because I love Ellen Hopkins' books.

3. The Espressologist by Kristina Springer Hopefully something a little lighter after Hopkins. It looks cute.

4. Looking for Alaska by John Green Because it's John Green.

5. Daughter of Smoke & Bone (Daughter of Smoke & Bone #1) by Laini Taylor For a break from all the contemporary stuff.

6. Identical by Ellen Hopkins This is one of my favourite books written by Hopkins.

7. Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson I've heard a lot of good things about this one.

8. A Gift of Magic by Lois Duncan I've never heard of this one but now I'm curious.

9. Feedback (Variant, #2) by Robison Wells Because it seems like you enjoyed the first one and I still need to read it.

10. Keeping the Moon by Sarah Dessen Because it's Sarah Dessen.

Substitute: Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin Because I've been meaning to read this one for so long but just never got around to it.

1. Siege and Storm (The Grisha, #2) by Leigh Bardugo - because I really liked it
2. Bully (Fall Away, #1) by Penelope Douglas - because the idea of frienemies falling in love sounds good
3. Out of Breath (Breathing, #3) by Rebecca Donovan - because it sounds like book 2 may have been a cliffhanger, so you must be waiting for this one
4. Losing Hope (Hopeless, #2) by Colleen Hoover - because you love this author
5. Taking Back Forever (The Kindrily, #2) by Karen Amanda Hooper - because I liked it a lot (good paranormal romance)
6. It's Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini - because you like medical stories and this one sounds like it may be a good character study book
7. Hounded (The Iron Druid Chronicles, #1) by Kevin Hearne - because it has a high rating and the guy on the cover is cute
8. Hear by Jacqueline Abelson - because you like tear jerkers, and it seems like this one at least has the potential to make you teary.
9. Real (Real, Raw & Ripped, #1) by Katy Evans - because I've considered reading this one
10. MacRieve (Immortals After Dark, #13) by Kresley Cole - because you really like this author to be reading the 13th book in the series ;)

Substitute book: Until Fountain Bridge (On Dublin Street, #1.6) by Samantha Young - because I heard that On Dublin Street was excellent.

I don't know. I actually found it quite funny in places. The main character Charlotte is surprisingly strong! Great book though, can't imagine how difficult it must be to go through something like that!

1st Every Day by David Levithan - Pretty cover and I've heard a lot about it!
2nd Pandemonium (Delirium, #2) by Lauren Oliver - I want to read the first book of this series, so this caught my eye!
3rd Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver - This sounds really interesting!
4th Being Nikki (Airhead, #2) by Meg Cabot - In case Before I Fall is sad, something fun to cheer you up! I used to love Meg Carbot!
5th Liar by Justine Larbalestier - Seems intriguing. ...Or I could be lying?
6th Perfect (Pretty Little Liars, #3) by Sara Shepard - Because I'm reading the first one of this series tomorrow and really looking forward to it!
7th - The Invisible Hero by Elizabeth Fensham - Sounds cute
8th In the Monkey Forest by Kierin Meehan - The cover and title caught my eye
9th - Abandon (Abandon Trilogy, #1) by Meg Cabot - I told you I like Meg Cabot :)
10th Mist (Mist, #1) by Kathryn James - Love the cover!

Martha I have a question! So, using an example, could you read your 1st and 2nd book on your list at the same time, as long as you finish your 1st book first? Or would you have to finish the 1st book before even starting the next one?

1. Pretty Little Liars (Pretty Little Liars, #1) by Sara Shepard - I have just started this series as well and I love it,it also gives you a million other books to read as this series never ends!

2. Breathe (Breathe, #1) by Sarah Crossan - Because we all love a good dystopian novel!

3. The Summer I Turned Pretty (Summer, #1) by Jenny Han - I like the synopsis, sounds like a good read

4. Spell Bound (Hex Hall, #3) by Rachel Hawkins - A lot of my GR friends have given this a high rating and its always good to continue a series and see what happens next

5. The Iron King (The Iron Fey, #1) by Julie Kagawa - The cover is so beautiful, I'm a sucker for a nice cover!

6. Eden (Eden, #1) by Keary Taylor - Girl Power! Love girls on a mission

7. Unearthly (Unearthly, #1) by Cynthia Hand - I love the cover and I want to read this one as well, so it will be good to hear your thoughts :)

8. Towering by Alex Flinn - A fairy tale re-telling, it will count for other challenges!

9. The Ghost and the Goth (The Ghost and the Goth, #1) by Stacey Kade - Start of a new series

10. Warm Bodies (Warm Bodies, #1) by Isaac Marion - I saw the movie and loved it so interesting to see if the book is just as great

You'll still get the same amount of time as everyone else. This challenge ends on July 14th for us, but it'll be July 15th for you. The Mega Month Challenge will end on July 31st here, but it won't end until it's already August 1st for you. Sorry about the time difference. Out of us 4 mods, only 2 of us have the same time zone and none of us have the same as Goodread's time zone. We go with GR time because it makes the most sense. :)

THis is a two week challenge, and it is part of the Mega Month Challenge which ends August 1.
