I picked this book..."Thanks Laura, I'm so excited about these! I'm really glad you've now given me an excuse to start Rose Under Fire early as well... I've been dying to read that one but haven't found time yet :)
I'm guessing that in these two weeks you can still read the books that weren't chosen for you, the ones of the original 20 on your shelf? They will just have nothing to do with the challenge.
Martha wrote: "I'm guessing that in these two weeks you can still read the books that weren't chosen for you, the ones of the original 20 on your shelf? They will just have nothing to do with the challenge."Of course! They just won't be part of the points for this challenge.

Ok, you're going to be Jodi's partner. Her shelf is posted in message 40. Pick 10 books for her as soon as possible, and she will do the same for you :)
Here is Hannelore's list to read.1.
Because I read it as a buddy read with another group and wonder if you think it is as amazing as others thought. I wasn't completely sold on it.2.
It is a book I just picked up and put down just the other day. I would love to know what you think.3.
For a break from Sci Fi end of the world4.
Everyone wants to be invisible at some point5.
So we can buddy read together6.
It is such a pretty cover7.
It looks like a good book8.
I read this series a few years ago.9.
Such a powerful title10.
The title caught me11.
I thought I was the only person who hasn't read Harry Potter
For the review thread of this challenge, would it be easier for you if we post the books we've read all in one post, making a list or if we added each new book separately?
Martha wrote: "For the review thread of this challenge, would it be easier for you if we post the books we've read all in one post, making a list or if we added each new book separately?"separate posts are easier, thanks !

Okay! :)
Greta, would you prefer separate posts for all of the challenges? Some of us have lists posted on some of the different threads, so would you rather we split them all up into individual posts as we read the books?
Jessica wrote: "Greta, would you prefer separate posts for all of the challenges? Some of us have lists posted on some of the different threads, so would you rather we split them all up into individual posts as we..."individual posts are easier to count. thanks!
Since we had to switch some partners up, I'm making a list for Pragya. Pragya's List:
1.
because it the second in the series so you probably really want to read it.2.
because that cover is awesome!3.
because I haven't read it yet so I'd like to see what you think.4.
because it looks funny.5.
because it looks good.6.
because the rating is high (4.2 stars).7.
because I like the concept.8.
because I like the title.9.
because I've never heard of another book like it.10.
because the cover is different :)Substitute:
because it's something I would probably read :)
so it seems that my partner has decided to quit goodreads indefinitely and I was wondering if this affects me? I mean she chose my 10 books for me to read so I don't need a new partner right?
Rachelle wrote: "so it seems that my partner has decided to quit goodreads indefinitely and I was wondering if this affects me? I mean she chose my 10 books for me to read so I don't need a new partner right?"hmmm... that's too bad :(
if you just want to participate for fun, then that's ok. we may do a random winner with each book read counting as a raffle
Greta wrote: "Rachelle wrote: "so it seems that my partner has decided to quit goodreads indefinitely and I was wondering if this affects me? I mean she chose my 10 books for me to read so I don't need a new par..."okay cool thanks!
Hey everyone! I'm not going to have Internet access until Wednesday, but I'm still taking part in this challenge. As soon as I have Internet ill review all the books and post in the progress thread, is that alright? :)

Sarah wrote: "I'm messaging my partner too, she seems to be MIA."good idea, maybe she is just behind on her reading like me ...:)

Done and done. Could you -- change The Voyage of the Dawn Treader cause I realized that I read that a long long time ago.
Trisha wrote: "Do you want me to switch it for a whole new book? or just switch it out with your switch out book?"I didn't think those two choice (narnia and HP) through when I put them on my shelf, because I read them years and years ago. So I already used my switch for the HP book.
okay! No worries, I picked a new book and switched out Dawn Treader! let me know if that's okay or if you want me to switch anything around!Thank you so much for switching mine! it's perfect!

Question: I started my substitute book before my 9th book due to buddy read schedules yet I finished my substitute book after the 9th one. Would I therefore be able to use my substitute book for my 10th book? :S

I'm so happy! I am writing my review for my ninth book and almost done with the tenth book on my list! I didn't get even close to this far last time! :)
