I have two novellas on the list, and I was going to warn that my partner would only be able to pick one if he or she wanted me to read them because they are short. However . . . Destroy Me actually has 103 pages, so only one book on the list has less than a hundred pages :)

Are you allowed to use books that you're planning to use in other challenges too - if they've been on your to-read shelf for a while? So could I use a book for this challenge that I'm also planning to use for the B-U-D-D-Y R-E-A-D-S challenge or the Mod's favourites challenge? If that made sense XD

I kinda feel like it should come with a list of dates for already scheduled buddy reads though. I'm stressing that the book I have scheduled for July 1st is going to be the 10th book on my list!

You can negotiate with your partner, I know I did it last time (if you are my partner, I will take your Buddies into account). I'm in the same situation, but am hoping for the best!

Yes, communication with your partner will be key. I know last time around, I had to ask my partner to restructure my list because I had a problem with one the ebooks I borrowed from my library :)

All you have to do is go to your shelf, copy the url, and paste it in your comment. It automatically turns into a link.

on the top where it says HOME MY BOOKS blah blah EXPLORE.. go to MY BOOKS then on the top right it says ADD SHELF. Then you copy the URL & paste it on here

I want to join but there's no chance in the world I'm going to win this because I'm a slow reader... Is there anyone else here who is a slow reader and wants to partner with me for this? I can read top 5 books.
I don't want to ruin anybody's chances for winning but I want to do this challenge for fun.

This way we don't get 2 really fast readers together that will blow everyone else away :)

Since it has been a while since we've had one, this is going to be a partners challenge:)
**This will be especially good for people who may have dozens or even hundreds of books on their TBR shelf just waiting to be read.
Challenge Period: July 1-14
Here's how it works:
1. Look through your TBR shelf for books you know you are willing to read soon (either you own them, or you know you can get a hold of them right away and most importantly you still have an interest in reading them!) Pick 20 books and put them on a new shelf called "Clean Your Shelf Again Challenge" and leave a link for that shelf on this thread!! This lets me know you're participating:)
2. After you've signed up and have left a link to your shelf, you will be assigned a partner (Partners will be assigned on the 30th). Please only sign up if you're really interested in participating, as your partner will be counting on you. Also, if your profile is set to private you may have to change that for the duration of the challenge or "friend" your partner.
3. Your partner will pick books off your "Clean Your Shelf " for you to read. He/she will pick 10 out of your 20 books and post them on this thread in the order they want you to read them. **An 11th book which will be a "substitute" book in case your partner can't finish one of the books on their list, should be added at the end of the list.
Please give a brief explanation of why you chose the books you did. It's always fun to see what books grab people's attention and why. :)

5. Read your books and then post your reviews on the companion thread:

7. All participants will receive 10 points towards the Mega Month Challenge just for taking part in this challenge.
Rules: No rereads, graphic novels, only one book per person allowed that is fewer than 100 pages (pages must be shown on Goodreads or Amazon), and all books must be started, finished, and reviewed during the challenge period. An extra point will be given for buddy reads that take place in our group. We reserve the right to ask for more details in any review that is too vague as to give a clear sense that the individual has read the book.
