What Are You Reading Now?

I've just finished it!"
I'm so looking forward to buying it tomorrow. Your hearty endorsement of it makes it even more exciting.

*starts collecting change in the parking lot*

By Kelley Armstrong? I liked it. It was exactly what I would expect of her for YA. Have you read any of her adult stuff?
Kathy: Are you not just loving Anne? She is one of my all-time favorite characters.
Allison: Don't forget the couch cushions.

I hope you're liking this! Like Misty..Anne is one of my all time favorites.

hehe yes, I love my Anne :)

her quote then...asking Matthew if she talks too much and then going off on her little tangent...is one of my favorite quotes ever.
Finished Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and of course loved it again! As I was reading, I knew what the next line would be without reading it first... haha
Will continue reading Eldest and start reading The Book Thief & City of Ashes.

AAAAAAA, Schmendrick the Magician, one of my favorite characters of all time. EVER. Period.
OMG, I love Peter Beagle. Little asthmatic guy who went to Pitt and majored in Creative Writing, just like me ('cept, of course, he actally managed to become a writer!). He was hands down my favorite author in high school, and though I can't say that any more, the authors who've joined him don't touch his style. He's sort of Charles de Linty -- literary despite his genre.
Check out your Del Ray (I think) paperback copies of the Lord of the Rings novels: I'm pretty sure Beagle does the forward, which was also awesome.
Lila the Werewolf was also great; it's only a short story, but it was good fun, and a little sad.
And The Last Unicorn also has that animated movie with the awesomely cheesey soundtrack by America. Fantastic!

Yay Kristen, I entered and became a follower and was definately inspired to finally create my own book blog. You rock!

Oh and just to be on topic, I'm currently reading The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss, I'm more than half way through it, I love it so far. It's definately adult, but I could see lots of YA-type people enjoying it. :-)

Yeah, I did the same thing. I am in awe of Kristen
s blog. I attempt things like this, and then something else comes along and I abandon it. Who was it I was talking about O.S.S ('Ooh, Shiny!' Syndrome) with? Allison? Yeah, it rears its ugly head again. (and again. and again.)
Anyway, I'm going to try to stick to it regardless of whether anyone ever reads it, because I remember things better if I write them down, and if I can make it look half as presentable as Kristen's, I'm going to feel pretty awesome.

*shrugs* I'll worry about it when I get there.

You guys are too funny. I just have had the summer off and threw in a ton of time into my blog. It's nice just to work part-time at night for these three months. It's super addicting. :) I blame Emma for showing me hers and then I just went crazy with it. :)

DO IT! :) hehe. Its my favorite. Well, second only to Harry Potter.
*edit* errr...and Anne :P
k, maybe its #3 :) still, not too shabby! lol.

I've started many books lately, the latest being City of Glass, but I just can't seem to get into any of them...

I just finished the book today and thought that it was pretty good. I also like Schmendrick the Magician too.
I don't think that I have ever seen the movie though.

Is that the first one? I read whatever the first of that Mortal Instruments series was and I was *NOT* a fan. I really wanted to be though :(

No, it's the third. I don't think they're very well written, and there are plenty of plot holes, but I managed to enjoy them anyway...

Anyways I'm thinking I may begin Does My Head Look Big In This? by Randa Abdel-Fattah before bed.

:)

ummmmm...no! :D
Vampire Beach... who is that by? I will have to look into it... :)
I finished Eldest and am going to start City of Glass.
