Pierre Delerive (pierredelerive) | 9 comments My name is Pierre. I will follow your advice, Sonya, and order "The splendid and the vile" (which had been on my to-do list for some time. Larson combines the talents of a journalist and a novelist. I enjoyed very much his "In the garden of the beasts." The title is the translation of Tiergarten, the Berlin Zoo, and it is a gripping story. I didn't enjoy Dead Wake as much, I'm afraid. Happy reading.
