Jess (jesscatt) | 40 comments Wow, great start Ellinor!

I've finished Jane Eyre.
Potentially it works for:
#3 bronze, with the cover Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë , Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë or Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë , but I don't know, haha.
#5. Spell-it-out: "C" from NBRC or Challenge (Charlotte) or "B" from NBRC (Bronte)
#6: Maybe? It's set in England which is a holiday destination, but that may be a bit broad, since it's not set somewhere really well known like London?
Sorry for the vagueness! :/

Marie | 20 comments Well, you are lucky my exam week is coming, because I always go on a reading binge when I'm supposed to study. One can not study without a chapter or two of a non-related book as a proverbial carrot. :D So, basically it's a book a day month for me. Yey.

Ellinor (1001andmore) We already read 20 of 49 books. This is amazing, you're doing so great!

I'm 3 quarters through Inferno (Robert Langdon, #4) by Dan Brown and hope to finish it quite soon. next on my list is Me Before You by Jojo Moyes

message 37: by Jess (last edited Jun 10, 2013 07:25PM) (new)

Jess (jesscatt) | 40 comments Ignore this! :)

Marchioness of Magenta | 110 comments Hi Jess! I think the Roald Dahl book most likely will not count towards the challenge. It has illustrations and in those cases, we check the word count. I'm confirming it with the mods and I'll get back to you soon.

message 39: by Jess (new)

Jess (jesscatt) | 40 comments Ah, all right, I thought it would be okay because although it does have some pictures it's 45 pages over the "minimum" page count :)

Marchioness of Magenta | 110 comments When there are pictures, then the word count has to be checked. From the word count, the page number I got was close to 150 which is below the minimum page count. I'll need confirmation on that though.

message 41: by Jess (new)

Jess (jesscatt) | 40 comments Okay, thanks, just let me know if I need to remove it then :)

Marchioness of Magenta | 110 comments Sure. Thanks for understanding! :)

Edit: &
#7: "P" in Up (Philip) because I don't know how to spell apparently, haha.

Sorry, this one worked pretty horribly for this challenge :P And I'm going to be slowing down considerably since my exams actually happen over the next week and I have to stop filling my brain with fiction instead of fact ;)

Marchioness of Magenta | 110 comments Also works for #7 - P in Seven Up.

Good Luck with your exams! It's weird but whenever I had my exams, I ended up reading more. I finally had to ban my library visits :P
