Welcome and I liked it well enough for a non fiction title.

Well Tim with 1024 pages it wasn't going to be a quick read was it. LOL I think it took me the best part of a month to read that one.

Really 2 weeks is a very optimistic estimate I'm making lol. I'm lucky if I can get through 50 pages in a day

I'm not far in yet but really liking it.

How do you like it so far? I am only on episode three of the show and I like the book better because of all the changes they made in the show. But that’s how it usually is. LOL

The Terror by Dan Simmons. Hoping to have it done by the time the AMC miniseries starts later this month.

One of my favorites and I am really looking forward to the show. How do you like it so far?

I am looking forward to the show. The trailer looks really. The book was sometimes frustrating. It’s been a few years since I read it so at least I won’t be making too many comparison. LOL

Yeah, the book is a beast. It's a lot of material and if AMC does it right, could be a decent running show for them. So much goes on it that I don't want to make comparisons between the two either unless they make some pretty glaring errors.

I honestly didn't like the book. It was hard for me to get into, just like the show.

When I read it, it took a while to get use to the tech jargon. It was an interesting read. I gave it 3 stars.
When I binged on Altered Carbon on Netflix for 2 days. I found the show awesome. It's rare when you actually like the show more the book. There;s no other sci fi show like it and found it completely original. I give the show 5 stars.

Right now in March I'm reading fantasy book The Shadow of What was Lost by James Islington which is pretty good. Reminds me of the Wheel of Time series book The Eye of the World(book1). I'm also reading The Worm Oroboros by E.R. Edison. So far so good and it's a scifi book

All in all a good book but it contains parts where I just want to throw it against a wall.
Started The Birth House yesterday. It seems to be a quick and interesting read.
