I'm travelling alone by Samuel Bjork was excellent, picked up a random book called Rupture by Simon Lelic and it's about a school shooting
Slowly working my way through Lord of Chaos I have a feeling it's gonna take me close to two weeks on this one.
I just read You and I am now almost done with 13 Bullets. I just started it yesterday and couldn’t stop reading once I started.

Really 2 weeks is a very optimistic estimate I'm making lol. I'm lucky if I can get through 50 pages in a day

I love Roland and jake Susannah in waste land they did a good job 👍 in it and I think the next book got my worried it’s going to be bad idk y tho but sorry it took me a week to finish this book 😲
I am about 70% into The 7-1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton. I am not a fan of the whole "whodunnit" style of novels and this wasn't what I was expecting when I requested the book from Netgalley. Obligated now to read and review it, I was kicking myself in the rear for choosing it but it is very well written and original. Although it is still not my cup of tea, I am enjoying it and think that those readers who enjoy Agatha Christie will really like this novel. This novel is to be released in the US on September 18, 2018.
I shifted genres and started The Keeper of Lost Things after finishing The Shining. I also requested Strange Weather from the library and ordered Rage from Amazon. Got everything all lined up!
Finished In the Woods by Tana French. I usually hate plot ambiguity but this is the only novel I have read where it was done in a manner that did not bother me. A brilliant read, it won a lot of awards and rightfully deserved them, it made me invest in its characters and also works as well as a tragedy as it does as a mystery. A very brave first book. Rating - 5/5.My full review https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

The TerrorThe Terror by Dan Simmons. Hoping to have it done by the time the AMC miniseries starts later this month.

One of my favorites and I am really looking forward to the show. How do you like it so far?
Just over 100 pages into this 900+ page doorstop...who does Simmons think he is, King? ;). So far, so good.

I am looking forward to the show. The trailer looks really. The book was sometimes frustrating. It’s been a few years since I read it so at least I won’t be making too many comparison. LOL
I've just started reading Oryx & Crake, but it's my birthday tomorrow and I know I'm getting a copy of Strange Weather, so I think I'll be reading that!!

Yeah, the book is a beast. It's a lot of material and if AMC does it right, could be a decent running show for them. So much goes on it that I don't want to make comparisons between the two either unless they make some pretty glaring errors.
Finished The Likeness by Tana French, a disappointing follow up to In the Woods. The main premise is too mind boggling and the characters too unrealistic for me to take it seriously. Rating - 3/5.My short review - https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

I honestly didn't like the book. It was hard for me to get into, just like the show.
I read Altered Carbon a few weeks before it premiered on Netflix. When I read it, it took a while to get use to the tech jargon. It was an interesting read. I gave it 3 stars.
When I binged on Altered Carbon on Netflix for 2 days. I found the show awesome. It's rare when you actually like the show more the book. There;s no other sci fi show like it and found it completely original. I give the show 5 stars.
In Feb. I read Red Rising series Iron Gold by Pierce Brown, Great series. One of my favorite series. I also read Oathbringer in Feb. from the Stormlight Archives series by Brandon Sanderson. That series is great Brandon Sanderson a master world builder when it come to fantasy genre. Red Rising is a great scifi fantasy series.Right now in March I'm reading fantasy book The Shadow of What was Lost by James Islington which is pretty good. Reminds me of the Wheel of Time series book The Eye of the World(book1). I'm also reading The Worm Oroboros by E.R. Edison. So far so good and it's a scifi book
Just finished The Waste Lands by Stephen King. All in all a good book but it contains parts where I just want to throw it against a wall.
Started The Birth House yesterday. It seems to be a quick and interesting read.
I have a problem... I used to only read 1 book at a time because I have trouble with consentration..but lately I've been starting multiple books at the same time and instead of finishing those I just pick up another one😂 so I'm currently (still) reading American Psycho , Night Shift and The Phantom of the Opera ... all of them great books I just need to consentrate ...
Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi (audio version), The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon by King (also audio), Peaceable Kingdom by Jack Ketchum and Trigger Warning by Neil Gaiman. I love short story collections and I have never read Gaiman before (although I have seen great reviews on his works). I am working my way slowly through this collection because while I can see the talent, they seem kind of dry to me. Having trouble staying interested.
