No I thought you would know, but I guess the mods have it open by now. I am sure the other teams have categories done, or are they waiting to post when all 7 categories are finished.

Hina -- I think that there are several BOM and Buddy Reads --- I'm doing at least 4 and I think 2 others are doing them. They are on the spreadsheet that I had started.I have The Rose Garden which is good for category 6.
Also, for category 5, if we do it a second time, we cannot use the letters that we used the 1st time.
Also, I'm putting Mine til Midnight on hold for the buddy reads, etc ---- so if someone else can finish that category, I can use Mine till Midnight for an "L" in the Category 5.
Hi girls.Seems I am way behond on things here. SORRY!
I have been finishing some books though:
And I just started reading:
This won't be able to count as part of Challenge 3: Color Behind: Electric Lime? Will it? (I'm thinking too green, not enough lime?)
Good morning. I finished Agatha Raisin and the Potted Gardener by M.C. Beaton this morning.
This is currently in Category #6, flower on the cover.
I updated my original post as well.
Hina and Jolene, I think I need to try to find another slot for Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon - 06/08/13
as we have already used the "D" in Category #5, spell out. I'm going by post #164.
I will take a look as soon as I have time to see if it can be placed somewhere else.

Thilde, All Together Dead CAN count for electric lime. I asked the mods and they approved it.
I have a feeling that the electric lime is the category that we will skip, maybe we do Moonstone twice since the 2 books that Thilde do would count
JoLene wrote: "I have a feeling that the electric lime is the category that we will skip, maybe we do Moonstone twice since the 2 books that Thilde do would count"Probably JoLene, that one I haven't even started with. But Right now, I think we should keep counting, whichever we finish can be applied. If we end up finishing moonstone again, then we will count it. We also have cupcakes that we can redeem as well.

I will take a look. Thanks!

lol ignore me, I did mean thilde, but I was reading your post in for the August challenge at the same time and got my names confused. That's what I get for multi tasking and having so many windows open.
Hi Team Mauvelous. I managed to finish a couple of books over the last couple of days. They are:1. A Rake's Vow by Stephanie Laurens - 06/12/13
It fits in Category #1 - Behind Enemy Lines for Chris on the Moonstone Team.
2. Killing Floor by Lee Child - 06/13/13
I couldn't find any other place to fit this other than Category #5, under L for Lee. I'm not even sure that letter is still available, so I'm not sure if it can be used or not.
ETA: Perhaps the second book could be used as a white cover if we were to do Category #2 again? Not sure.
I was wandering if this could possibly count for Electric Lime? It does have some lime green on the cover, but I'm not sure.Death on Demand
If so, it might get us a step closer to fulfilling Category #3. I will read it over the next couple of days, as I'm anxious to get to it. It's not on my June/July TBR though, so I can go either way.

Oh, that's great! I'm going to read it next then. Hina, hopefully that will help for our Category #3 - Electric Lime?
Also, I know I'm so dense (stupid really...), but I'm confused on the Blinkie Cupcake for books over 450 pages. It is not uncommon for me to read books over that size, and I think I've already read several since the April 12th start date.
Should I make a list of those here in case we need them for the Blinkie Cupcake thingy? Or how does it work?

Hi Hina. My book I finished on June 11th will fit category #6 - flower on the cover. Message #168Agatha Raisin and the Potted Gardener by M.C. Beaton
It may be that you are using it some place else, but I just wanted to make sure you didn't miss it.
:)
I am still in the process of updating message 187, I keep getting distracted by something or the other.
@ Hina, I just finished A Feast for Crows - George R.R. Martin (6/13) and not sure where you can use it. Feel free to place where it is needed.
Hello All, Happy Friday! I updated what we have so far in message 187. If you guys can take a look at it and let me know if I did not miss out on any books.
Update:
Category 1 - Done
Category 2 Round I - Done
Category 2 Round II - 5 Done, needs two more
Category 3 - 2 Done and 2 in progress
Category 4 - 1 done and some in progress
Category 5 Round I - Done
Category 5 Round II - 5 Done, needs two more
Category 6 - Done
Category 7 - Done
I have one of my book that I haven't accounted for that fits category 2 and 5. So I am holding off adding that one either until I see which one we can submit it for.
I'm going to see what else I can scrounge up for Category #3.Also, I'm currently in the middle of Echoes by Danielle Steel
that can be used in Category #5.
Hina, will this work for Category #3? If so, I can get it from the library this afternoon.Love in a Nutshell by Janet Evanovich
I will get approval but I think both should work for category 3. I also have read Love in a nutshell and you are going to love the book.
Great, Hina! I'm going to start work on these two books after I finish Echoes. I'll get through both of them, and have them posted before the next update on Sunday. I think that will bring us to five books for Category 3. If no one else has anything that will fit, I'll scrounge up two more books for it. I know I can find two more. I already have a couple that will probably work that are right smack dab in the middle of a series, but I have no problem reading series out of order if it's needed.
Anything for a challenge! I must have become challenge addicted. Lol

LOL...no need to read out of order if you don't have to. I am currently reading a book that fits category 3, just waiting to confirm it meets the page count, if not I have two more which if I get a chance will finish by Sunday too. So we should be okay to finish category 3.
I can't remember whether I've posted completed books this week or not but these are the ones I completed. The Skull Mantra - Eliot Pattison 6/14
On Dublin Street - Samantha Young 6/14
Hannah's Dream - Diane Hammond 6/15
@Hina, please feel free to place where needed.
OK -- I feel really lame because I haven't been helping out much because all the stupid group reads are LONG!!!I'm almost done with both The Diviners and A Discovery of Witches, and just start The Passage. They are all over 500 pages.
Unfortunately, I'm working two jobs right now because a friend has two employees out on health issues (she runs a needlepoint store) -- so I'm working my regular job and then going over to her store for the afternoon shift ---- that's also cutting into my reading time :-D
We will probably have another category finished so none of these chunksters will count -- except for maybe bouncing cupcakes, but I have to be honest, I'm not sure that I understand those.
JoLene, if your Team correctly submits all 12 of the "Spot the Difference" puzzles, you will have 12 "bouncing" cupcakes to redeem for 12 "chunksters" your Team has read since April 12th.
So, you will add 12 books to your total.

The Civil War, Vol. 1: Fort Sumter to Perryville by Shelby Foote
I put it in Category #6 for the spelling of ANYROSE, "S" = Shelby.
If it needs to be moved some place else, I'm good with it. I updated my original post as well (message #95).
