I am so bummed right now. I had written down a list of my next three A-Z challenges all to clear books from my shelf and I can't find it. Gotta keep looking. Man it took a lot of work.
Yeah. I had a huge list of my tbr that I had lost but when I joined Goodreads I was able to add what I remembered and the list has now grown exponentially:)
I don't know some of the books on your second list, so I will gladly use it as a recommendation :), I loved Neverwhere, one of my all-time favourites.
Nice job Sarah! I have my second A-Z Challenge ready to go to, but haven't posted yet. I'm working on my third and may steal your idea to pull things off my shelves. I have a bunch of books that I've bought over the years and not read yet.
My intension was to only use books from my shelves for my A-Z challenge, but then I would see others post these great books and out I went to get more! I am mostly using previously owned books, but some I have just purchased. My next challenge will truly be from my shelves, except Q and X which I have nothing for. Great job, love your new list!
Cathie wrote: "Um...Sarah, do you realize you have Xingu on both lists?"Yes- but they overlap by a month and that is when I plan to use the X for both challenges in Janaury. Plus I have two more A-Z challenges after these already planned and I am so done dealing with X.

I think it is fair for X to just be anywhere in the title.
Almost done with The Orphan Master's so then there were four - I actually have until through January to finish to give me a one year challenge.
I am really impressed with your book lists. I am currently reading Goldfinch. It is a great book. Your challenge is inspiring.
Misha - no I am not nearly that good. My first challenge was Jan. 2013 to Jan. 2014 - it took me the whole year. Now I am starting my challenge for this year:-)
My A-Z Challenge for 2015 and 2016, all from my bookshelf, by author's first name Feb. 1, 2015 to Jan. 31, 2017

Nice list, Sarah. I can never stick to my list when I plan it ahead. I usually end up swapping out a few books. Q is going to be tough to find something you want to read.
read 3 out of your list, Midnight's Children was a great one, albeit a slow read. happy reading :-) :-)
