"Okay, hold on." he went into the bathroom, closing the door. He looked at himself in the mirror, trying to force himself to remember something. It wasn't working this time. He needed some kind of leeway.

Ever let him, holding his hand back even. She liked the feeling and she leaned against him as they walked.
As they made their way on the street. He looked around, still, nothing was coming to him. But this girl was possibly married, and he was drawn to her in a way that he couldnt explain.

Ever shook her head and took another step back." No..How can...Why should I believe you..? What if....What if your just pretending to be my friend and are trying to make me comfortable by making me think that your going through the same thing I am? What if you knew this entire time and your going to bring me back?" she babbled, touching her head and looking around. She didn't know what to do and she began hyperventilating.
"Wait..." he told her, stepping forward again. "ever...I'm not doing that. I mean, I dont think...." he was confused himself now. He shouldn't have told her this. He should have just waited. "I'm not going to hurt you..." he repeated.

He really hated that he had told her what he remembered. He knew that she didn't deserve to be fearful, let alone of him. All he wanted to do was be protective.
