Jake took Ever's hands, walking over to the bed and sitting down with her. "Just close your eyes and tune everything else out...just think, concentrate on what you really want to know..." he told her.

Ever blushed slightly when he did, but she took his hand back and nodded. She closed her eyes and tried to think, trying to block anything else out.

He watched her for a moment, then closed his own eyes, trying to concentrate on that moment on the plane, where he was looking at some sort of brochure.

Ever was trying to remember the image of the man that she got before, when she had that bad headache in the shower.

Everything was so quiet, a flash of a memory came to him suddenly. He was sitting on the airplane, reading a letter that was congratulating him on being accepted. He suddenly opened his eyes, only a small headache coming on that he could manage.

Ever was still struggling to remember, getting barely anything but images of that man and a slight headache.

He opened his eyes, looking her over, making sure that she was okay. "Anything?" he whispered.

Ever opened her eyes as well and looked at him, shaking her head.
" Nothing besides blurry images of a man and a bit of a headache," she replied, sighing.

"A man..." he wondered. "No sense of him being familiar?" he asked.

Ever shook her head.
" No...none," she replied, looking down at her hands.

He sighed, "Okay, well we can try again later." he smiled, rubbing her back.

Ever unconsciously leaned in his touch, smiling at him.
" Okay," she replied.

He smiled, looking her over for a moment. "Well...since we don't know much about ourselves...let's make something up." he smiled. "So we have something to talk about. For instance, I'm a famous actor." he chuckled. "More famous than Johnny Depp, he actually calls me for pointers you know." he grinned.

That made Ever blush slightly and smiled shyly.

He stood up and walked away, not wanting to freak her out with him staring at her again. He ate another donut, which was getting pretty stale.

Ever watched him and looked down at the tea she had set on the night table. She picked it up and sipped it.

He looked out the window, as if he would find the answer to some questions there.

Ever looked at him, getting up after a moment and standing next to him. She looked up at him and smiled brightly.

He looked down at her, and smiled softly, loving that she looked so happy. "What?" he asked.

Ever shook her head then, but was still smiling.
" I'm just...glad that we're trying to figure everything out," she replied.

"Yeah, I just wish that we had a little more money....I'd love to eat a hamburger..." he muttered, then looked at her with wide eyes. "I just remembered I loved burgers." he laughed.

Ever giggled and moved closer to him.
" Well, at least you remembered something, even if it's just a little thing," she said.

Ever nodded happily, smiling brightly at Jake. While she was a little confused why she got a jittery feeling in her stomach seeing him, it wasn't a bad thing by any means.

After a moment he went back to the bed, turning on the television. "I dont know what the hell we were given, but apparently it wiped our minds completely..." he sighed, flipping channels on the tv.

" Do you think it might have something to do with the cuts on our chest?" she asked, walking over to the bed as well an taking a seat next to Jake.

He looked down at his cut, tracing it with his fingers. He sighed, looking back at the television. "Yeah...I think so...I mean, other than the memory loss and headaches, I feel fine...I dont think they took anything from me."

Ever nodded, touching her own through her shirt, but flinching slightly.
" Is your sore...? Like, when you touch it?" she asked Jake, looking up at him.

He looked at her and shook his head, "No...I was fine..." he touched it again, he wasn't hurt. "Are you hurting?" he asked.

" It's like...sore," she replied, sighing softly and putting her hand down on her lap.

Jake looked down at her, pulling away another strand of her hair. He didn't understand why he felt this strong connection with her. He sighed as he looked away.

He gently laid her back onto the bed. Out of respect he moved over and sat up straight, staring at the muted tv. He just wanted to make sure she was comfortable.

" No, come back," Ever said to him, scooting over to him and laying her head down on his lap. She looked up at him and smiled brightly, obviously very comfortable now.
