" Okay...," Ever said and hung up the phone. She glanced in the direction of the bedroom door before she went to the door of the apartment and opened it slowly, exiting as quietly as possibly. She then looked around, this was the 6th floor, so she had to go down to get to the 4th, so she decided to take the stairs instead, probably faster.
Darren had seen the entire thing on his cell phone. He scoffed and laughed in a mock tone. He had cameras planted all over the place. As soon as he had heard Ever was found with Jake, he knew he needed to convince her that they had the perfect life. That bitch Kat ruined everything now. He was going to take his shower, and then casually find her later. He'd have to take care of this differently. Kat was at the door of her apartment, waiting for Ever to arrive.

Ever hurried down the hallway and up the stairs to the third floor, walking down the hallway and searching for Kat's apartment. When she found it, she knocked lightly.
She opened the door quickly, and pulled her inside. "Did he see you?" she asked.

Ever watched her go to the door, then froze when he heard Darren's voice, getting up off the chair.
"She's not. So leave." Kat told him. "I saw her come down here." he laughed.

"I have cameras where I need them." he smiled.
"You sick freak..." she hissed. Nearly slamming the door.
He pushed her aside, walking in, seeing Ever. "Come on." he told her.

He snapped and looked at her, hatred in his eyes. Turning back to Ever he stepped forward. "I'm not going to say it again...." he told her.
