Yeah, I won it...I was pretty excited! I've been wanting to check out Emily Giffin's writing for a while.

Fiona (Titch) Hunt (titch) This afternoon, I sat and listened to Jamica Inn - Daphne Du Maurier (audio).

message 155: by [deleted user] (new)

Fiona, you read more than one book at a time right? It seems like you would need to for as many books as you go through, but I thought I would ask. I obviously do, but usually it's like I keep one book at work to read on my breaks, one book at home to read before bed and also one in the car to read or listen to on the commute to work... am I the only one that does this?

I read several books at one time...however, its usually because I want to change the type of story that Im reading..( like going from a romance story to a cozy mystery, for example )

message 159: by Fiona (Titch) (new)

Fiona (Titch) Hunt (titch) I have books just upstairs, but depending on my mood and how good the book is. Depends on how much I get read. I love audios, cos they can just play while I relax on my bed or in the lounge.

If my books are short /small books, I tend to read more that way ladies x

message 160: by Fiona (Titch) (new)

Fiona (Titch) Hunt (titch) I am now listening to Blind Eye - Stuart MacBride (Audio) (should finish 2day)

message 161: by [deleted user] (new)

:) Fiona, My husband and I are listening to the Fellowship of the Ring. I have never read this series, but I have seen the films. I am finding listening to it is very enjoyable. We have been working on a puzzle and can listen to the book at the same time. I have an ipod, but don't have the original plug to transfer music/files from computer to the ipod. I bought a plug from Wal*Mart thinking it would work the same and doesn't... it only charges the ipod. So, once I get a new plug, hopefully I can listen to more books while I'm walking, doing the dishes, etc.

Christa (is on top of the world!) (obsesedwbooks) | 17 comments Thanks. I'm glad I joined this seems like a pretty cool group!
I've been a member of goodreads for a while, but don't be fooled. I didn't have any friends untill about a couple weeks ago when Sunni the Dinosaur posted a comment on my story. I was soo exicited to have someone who liked my writing that I asked her to be my friend and I'm glad that she accepted. If it wasn't for her I probably wouldn't have any friends on the site. Now I have 31 because she's the one who got me interested in joining a group (not this club I keep forgetting the name something like THE LARGEST GROUP ON GOOD READS EVER! IDK I didn't get into it for the name I just thought they talked about some crazy, and iteresting, stuff.) So if she's in this club I'd just like top say thanks, if not, then I hope she gets the message some how.

message 191: by [deleted user] (new)

What an awesome GR story! :) I'm glad she got you more interested in the site... it's a lot of fun.

message 195: by Fiona (Titch) (new)

Now reading Succubus Blues - Richelle Mead which I am finding really good, not my usual kind of book. Need to read the series for the last book to be sent off in a swap and book 3 is awaiting at the local library for me.
