Me too! Interesting characters!

I read that last month and wasn't overly impressed. BUT I think it's because I'm in the middle of the Black Dagger Brotherhood & kept making comparisons. I'm thinking when I'm caught up with BDB I'll read it the rest of the series & avoid making comparisons. I've heard it's a great series.

I have Murder of Angels on my To-Read shelf but didn't realize it's part of a series... What's the first book of the series??? I hate it when I start in the middle (or the end as I have done before too)

I will be starting this tomorrow. I am looking forward to this series. I read part of Book 2 and loved the set-up of characters and world.

I'm currently reading Bitten by Kelley Armstrong.
I am getting close to finishing Darkfever - but I am going to put it to the side and start Dead and Gone.

I started Red-Headed Stepchild and am really enjoying it so far.
I'm not caught up on BDB yet - but I'm really jealous of everyone that has or is reading Lover Avenged. it makes me want to hurry through the rest.

It was a fun read for me too. I liked it more as I got further into the story. Glad you're enjoying it SteffieStar!
the book i just finished was Glass Houses by Rachel Caine. which i loved.... i had to start book 2 because of the end of the book. OMG. lol.. so now i am reading book 2 The Dead Girls Dance by Rachel Caine... which is good so far :)
Oh Stephanie - if you can't leave the cliff hanger hanging you will be reading the entire series in a row. EVERY book ends in a cliff hanger (if I remember correctly). It's a GREAT series though. The next one, Carpe Corpus, comes out 6/2! YEAH!
yeah i have a feeling i will end up reading them all if there like that.. i got to the end of the first one and was like NOooo what Nooo.. come on.. ugh atleast i have all but the new ones here.. so i might just have to there really good books.. i love them.. so cute i have Claire and Shane :)

I LOVE the Morganville Vampires!! I read them all back to back to back. Luckily I got LORD OF MISRULE in the mail like a day or so after I read FEAST OF FOOLS! Can't wait to get CARPE CORPUS!
I just started Windfall by Rachel Caine. It's the 4th book in her Weather Warden series and I LOVE this series. It is probably the most unpredictable and unique series I have yet to read.

I'm almost done with Magic In the Blood. It's the 2nd in a series, not as good as the first - but I'm still really enjoying it.
I finished Magic In the Blood - a great book & a promising new series. I can't wait until the next one comes out 11/09. At least it's not a year long wait like with most of my series.
I'm listening to Fragile Eternity by Melissa Marr and am loving the series.
I think next I'll start Lover Revealed. I've had a string of dark books & am in need of a hot PNR!

I was going to listen to the final HP book, Deathly Hallows on CD from the library. It's 21 hours! I figured I'd rather read it if it was going to take that long. At the moment I'm about a fourth of the way through my 5th or 6th reread of Goblet of Fire. And right now taking a break from that to read Quidditch Through the Ages (Property of Hogwarts Library).

I want to get the UK audiobook versions with Stephen Fry as the narrator because I love him, too (my mom bought me an alarm clock with his voice--it's great). Has anyone read the UK versions of HP? I bought them last year, but I haven't read them yet because I keep listening instead. I was just wondering if the differences were mainly in the vernacular. My mother was under the impression that there were other differences as well...

Kim Harrison is one of my favorite authors! Her Hollows series is probably tied for my #1 Favorite series with Sookie - though that changes on a regular basis :). Her new series is getting released in June & I'm reading Prom Nights from Hell to get ready. Her story is an introduction to the characters in Once Dead, Twice Shy. I'm just a little excited for another series from Harrison!
