I just finished reading the first four books of Rachel Vincent's Faythe Sanders series. I have to say that I was impressed! The last book, Prey was the best one yet!I'm actually hoping that Harris will focus more on her Sookie Stackhouse series. I have followed it from the beginning, but it is seeming to lose focus. There are so many main characters, it can get difficult to follow. I don't like to have to make notes as I read...
The next on my list is Gail Carriger's Soulless.
Am in the middle of Acheron. Love it. Cried almost all day yesterday and was so glad when part two started where the author's normal humor is. Emotionally draining but very good.
Finished Acheron. Loved the book. I'm switching betweengenres books. I'll be reading the next Sherrilyn Kenyon book in the series next.
This morning I finished Middlesex
No witches, weres, vamps or other beasties, but it is very good!
Next up, I'm finally getting around to The Hunger Games [image error]

It's a bit expensive on Amazon, but maybe my library has it. Otherwise I'll buy the paperback. The zapped by lightning premise sounds interesting.
I've been keeping my eye on Red but no one I know has read it. Be sure to let us know what you think of it Valorie!
i just got through the whole vampire academy series and its now among my favorites i think im ready to reread them all and i just closed blood promise like 30 mins ago waiting for num 5 will kill me

Started One Silent Night by Sherrilyn Kenyon. I'm hoping she doesn't make Stryker a sympathetic character.
I just finished
and it was really good. I did prefer Hunger games but I will deff read the new one when it comes out...I am hoping to start
Dark Lover is a great start to an awesome series. I hope you both like it Heather & Amanda! It's almost as if it's a classic in the genre.
I finally finished Knitting Bones by Monica Ferris. It had been sitting on my night stand for about a year. I'm going to start another night stand book. Let's see, I spy Lament The Faerie Queen's Deception. That's my next read. I am going to start listening to Kitty and the Midnight Hour by Carrie Vaughn.
Shanon wrote: "Dark Lover is a great start to an awesome series. I hope you both like it Heather & Amanda! It's almost as if it's a classic in the genre."I'm not very far into it but I'm really liking it so far, are all the books in the series as good as this one?
That's always good if the later ones are even better, especially if the first one is really as good as I've heard it is.
I just finished Dark Nights, Dark Dreams Sisterhood of the Sight which I enjoyed. I liked the hero and the heroine but disliked the high handedness of the US Governments covert ops. Also read Midnight Kiss which was really good. About a producer who is producing a vampire movie and all kinds of vampire-like things keep happening to sabotage the movie.
Read Edge of Desire - book 3 which is terrible. The hero is a whiny pain in the ass who can't make up his mind about the heroine. His waffeling is very annoying. The ending is great but the book itself is awful which is surprising because the first two books were rather good.
Currently reading Sex & Sensibility which sounds interesting and sexy.
I just finished
and really enjoyed it. It was kind of a Sci-Fi-ish paranormal romance about werewolves. A really good 1st book in the series. A really strong heroine lead character, which I love! I moving on to
next.

"I tried to start Must Love Hellhounds and couldn't get into the short stories. Let me know if there's one you liked particularly.
I finished The Demon's Daughter. This book was pretty good. The story was different enough from other PNR books. I really liked the main character Roxanne. I also finished Man of My Dreams. I liked this anthology. I also read Dream Warrior. I liked this book a lot.
Starting A Hunger Like No Other today. First Kresley Cole I've read, I think.
I don't know what book to read next it's between
Anyone has any suggestion as to which one I should read first?
Shiver!! I just finished it and thought it was awesome.
The only one I've read from your list Heather is The Host. It was good but I have no idea how good compared to the others. You have some very interesting books to choose from though.
I just picked Shiver up from the library this morning so I'll be starting it soon.

I haven't read any on your list but have added them all to my to-read list lol. I was considering Hush, because i see it every time i go to the bookstore but have just never picked it up.
I went to the book store today and got some more books so I think that I just made my chose harder :( but I can't really complain cause I love getting new books :P
Finished
. About halfway through the book, I was really sick of Emma. It did end okay. I'm still going to read a couple of Kresley Cole's other books, as I have 2 at home. Hopefully I'll like them more.
I finished Lament The Faerie Queen's Deception and finally completed Catching Fire. I am now reading The Hunger Games and Storm Front for the 2nd time.
Heather I agree with Jan go with Shiver! It was really good! The only other book on your list I have read is The Host and I enjoyed it altho it does take a bit to get into.... good luck! Let us know what you decide....
I ended up picking The Van Alen Legacy cause I have to read it for a book challenge anyway, but thank to everyone for their oppinions anh help.
I finished
and loved it! I cant wait to start the next book in the series! So far both Eve of Darkness and Eve of Destruction were GREAT!I think I might start
next!
I just finished
(which was awesome and I'm deff gonna read the others), and I think I'll start
next...but I have so many series going lol I'll have to read them in between the different group reads :p but on the bright side I don't have to wait for a continuation to come out.
Last night, I finished Traitor to the Blood and am kind of burnt out on the series for now. I have the next two books in series, but am setting them aside. I did, however, start reading Red. It's different, but I haven't read enough to know if I like it or not.

Lol I have them downloaded on my book reader...but I like to do the group reads first..so I Gould be starting #2 in a few days or so
I think that I'm going to take my time reading them cause when I'm don't I'm pretty sure that I'll want to read more, so I'm going to read a few book inbetween each to streach it out more.

! I think it's safe to say I liked the book...
Yz the Whyz wrote: "Briansgirl,I haven't read that much Nora Roberts except for her trilogies that have paranormal elements:
This would include Sign of the Seven, Circle (my favorite), In the Garden, and Three ..."
The Donovan Series (4 book) and The Key Trilogy
also have paranormal elements. The Donanvan books have a witch theme, they all have a different power. Both series/trilogies are really good, as are all the one Yz the Whyz mentioned. Midnight Bayou is good too, but is a novel.
Sarah wrote: "Ok, so not only did I finish [image error] today, I also read boo..."
WOW! That's impressive - I'm going to have to move that series up on my To Read list!

I really enjoyed the first book and have the 2nd and third in by TBR pile. Glad to hear the rest are good too!
Finished Seduced by Magic. I'll have to read another of her books before I make up my mind about this author. Started Kiss of a Demon King and really like this book. Didn't care for the first Kresley Cole book I read, but this one is really good so far.

Harris' Lily Bard series is the only one of hers I haven't started yet. The Harper series has been really good, the last book of the series was published this year. I wonder if Harris is going to start a new series or put more focus into her current ones.
