I hadn't heard of Night's Cold Kiss before - but with a triple "hot" description I'm going to have to go check it out :)

Finished Kiss of a Demon King by Kresley Cole. Loved this book. Started Dark Slayer by Christine Feehan.
The secret is don't watch TV. I used to read a little and watch TV a lot but now I just read. It usually takes me 1 to 1-1/2 days to read a book. I'm trying really hard to make that 144 for 2010 goal.
At that rate you're going to hit 144 books with no troubles!!!
I used to watch a lot of TV too - in fact when I met my husband he used to tease me because I HAD to be home at certain times to watch different shows. I'm a reformed TV addict now and only watch shows on DVD so I can set my own schedule again. It's left much more time for reading!!
I'm currently reading Pleasure Unbound. It was a group read for another group months and months ago that I never got to but always wanted to.

I finished The Summoning which was a good YA read until I got to the end. The manner in which the book ended irritated me.Started on Ballad: The Gathering of Faerie and put it down after the first chapter. Not because it's a bad book, though. I'll read it later.
I'm now reading Soulless and am enjoying the book.

Carolyn - my new goal is to keep up with you!!! How many books have you read this year? I'm seriously impressed with all these books you are finishing.
I finished Nice Girls Don't Date Dead Men and absolutely loved it! Another hilarious paranormal romance from Molly Harper!! I'm now reading

Gothicladybug wrote: "Heather wrote: "Chakara wrote: "Heather wrote: "Chakara wrote: "Heather wrote: "Chakara wrote: "Finished city of bones started on city of ashes but i own the whole series and hav e some library boo..."ya I like all of them too, especially Luke, I liked him right from the beginning.
Finished Street Game, really good book. Started Rogue by Rachel Vincent. This is an example of a book I couldn't get into twice and on the third try I'm really liking.
Paula - you'll have to let me know about Shiver. I've heard it's really slow but it keeps getting high ratings.
I don't think it's slow, but the book is mainly a relationship/love story. Truly a soul mate theme with a little paranormal. I like the universe, it's a bit different. However, I can see how a lot of people consider Shiver slow, if they are looking for a lot of fast pace action. Usually I don't like paranormal romances I'm more UF, but Shiver pleases me.
I'm about half way through The Last Wish and am enjoying it. It's not quiet what I was expecting but still good.
I'm also slowly working my way through Grimm's Grimmest (my first swap book!). It's a collection of some of Grimm's original fairy tales.

I just finished Hush, Hush and am still working on The Van Alen Legacy. I really liked Hush Hush, does anyone know if there is going to be another book after it?

The release date for
Shift is March 1, 2010. It's already on my to-read list!! :)
Finished Prey, such a good series. I'm now reading The Good, the Bad, and the Undead, my first Kim Harrison book.
Heather, I liked Shiver. I consider it a YA love story with paranormal elements. There are a few holes in the story, but I focused on the relationship between Sam and Grace. Many people thought Shiver dragged and I can see how they would. I didn't expect a fast pace, so I wasn't irritated.
