Derrick replies, "sorry to hear about your dad. I still should have waited till you were atleast ready" Derrick rubs his face to try to hide him blushing

"Yeah, I was a little surprised," she laughs.
"Hey it took me by surprise too" derrick laughs
"But can i let you in on a little secret" derrick says
"Sure," She crosses her ankles.
Derricks face gets really red," dont find this freaky but i... actually.... kindve... liked it" derrick has never felt this way about a girl before. But he mentally kicks himself for sayin that. Hoping she doesnt turn him away
She blushed, "Well, I have to agree, it could have been better though if I didn't taste the alcohol."
"Yeah, i dont blame ya there." Derrick tenses up
((Lol i betcha Arissa is thinking something like... "wow... this is um..... awkward lol))
((OH yeah, totally))"Maybe next time it will be better," she nudges him.
Clovers reply catches him off guard and he almost falls off the stool. "Wait... what!!??" Derricks face gets so red he has to lay his head down.
"Maybe next time you kiss me, it will be better," she says slowly for him.
Derrick continues to keep his head down.
"Unless you don't want to?" her eyebrows raise.
Derrick raises his head in a split second, "Whoa, i never said that now." Derrick starts to laugh
She laughs and takes a drink of water, "So you do?"

((Aliright im back)) Derrick smiles, "Of course i do, honestly i really like you."
"That's good to know," she smiles.
Derrick smiles back drinking more of his coffee.
Clover puts her hair up into a pony tail and asks the bartender for a side of fries, she was still a little hungry surprisingly.
Derrick smiles at her and drinks more of his coffee. ((Im outta ideas help out lol))
"So um," she eats a fry, "tell me your favorites."
"Favorites?" Derrick looks at her confused
"What are your favorite things, like, color, food, drink, sport, etc," she drinks more water.
"Oh"He laughs, well my favorite color is blue, my favorite drink would have to be sweet tea with lemon, ther has to be a lemon. My favorite sportwould probably have to bowling.
"Sweet tea?" she asks, "Mines Dr. Pepper."

"Dr pepper, i do like Dr Pepper but i try not to drink much pop." Derrick replies
"I drink it all the time," she smiles, "I cant help it."
Derrick smiles back, "theres nothing wrong with that"
(( I don't know what to do either, lol))Clover walks over to a juke box and searches for a song.
((Im back lol sorry bout yesterday my connection messed up again))
Clover hits a button and a song starts playing on the speakers. She smiles walking back over to the bar.
Derrick smiles back, "Hey, I love this song." ((oh btw i might bring My other Charrie Natalie in for a visit))
"Me too," she laughs, "want to dance?"
Derrick stands up, "As long as I get to lead" Derrick says holding his hand out to Clover
"Of course you can lead," she takes his hand and smiles.
Derrick puts one hand on Clover's waist, while keeping one hand in hers, as they slowly begin to circle around the floor.
"Hmm," she looks up at him, "seems like you know what you're doing."
Derrick smiles, "oh you aint seen nothing yet" he then begins to twirl Clover around then looks back into her eyes.
Clover laughs while Derrick spins her. When he stops she locks his gaze and grins, "You are quite skilled."
Derrick maintains eye contact, "thanks, I try." now just dancing around the floor.
She smiles wider starting to add her own flair to the dance.
For some reason, Derrick can't stop looking into her eyes, her beautiful eyes. Derrick says, "you have very pretty eyes."
Clover blushes, "Thank you, your eyes are amazing too."
