"So uh,Ethan... how old are you?" River asked nonchalantly.

Her eyes fall to the table top. "Ohhh..."
"Uh, it's just...there's a little bit of an age difference between us..."
For a minute, she considered lying about her age, but then decided against it. "Almost 16..."
"True..." She shrugged. "I dunno, I guess that it's just cuz I've never been in a relationship before...I've always been by myself."
(you think I should make a wizard??)River decided to change the subject. She liked Ethan too much to dwell on that.
"So, will you show me your power?"
(hmmm I'll have to think on it... may not have enough time :) ))"Wow, fire huh?" She poked his arm. "C'mon, can you at least show me outside?"
"Totally! Then I''ll show you mine!"
"So are you gonna light a tree on fire or somethin'?" River asked breathlessly as Ethan towed her outside.

River jumped back, "Oh my God!"
"Wow... how long did it take you to learn how to control it?"

(haha :))"Great!" River said. "But first of all, is there anything you're really afraid of? Things you don't wanna see?"
"Okay," River said softly. What would she make him see?Raising her hands, she closed her eyes and focused harder than she had ever before; picturing a black night sky, painted with millions of stars and streaked with splashes of indigo and midnight blue color. No city lights, no distractions, just the world the way it was meant to be seen.
The vision was sapping her energy, but it was worth it to see the look on Ethan's face."Make a wish," She whispered, as a bright shooting star flashed across the sky, leaving a trail of white and yellow fire behind it.
She let the vision fade out slowly, wiping the sweat from her forehead and taking a deep breath, then smiled at him. "Thank you. I was told once that if I worked hard enough at it, I could one day, maybe, read people's minds."
"Thanks. So, what do you wanna do now?"(hey, is Arissa's house big enough for a roommate? :D I still don't have a place and I CANNOT get the stupid pictures to work on here so...)
(awesome! maybe they can talk about at lunch later?lol)"Let's go somewhere we haven't been yet."
River nodded. "Sure. After you!"

Cookie opened the door of the tune bar and saw the bartender sitting there, looking bored. "Hey, Marcus," she said. "Could I have something... strong?"
Marcus handed her a tall glass of blueish liquid, and Cookie went to sit down on a small sofa in a corner.
Cookie looked up and saw that a boy had sat down next to her. Upon further glancing she realized it was Brayden, a boy that she knew from a while back but hadn't spoken to.
"Yea, Brayden? I don't think I've spoken to you in a long while, although I do know I know you."
"Mm, nothing really, to be honest. I'm just trying to get by, I suppose. You?"

Cookie lowered her eyes as both of the boys she was sitting with turned their full attention to Shale and Vee.

Cookie was a little bit disgusted by the girls, they seemed a bit slutty. "You know, I should get home. I have... I -- stuff to do. I'll see you guys later."She started to get up off the couch.

Cookie sighed and rolled her eyes. "No really, I'd rather be by myself." She cocked her head. "I'll leave you guys by yourselves, I'm kind of the odd one out anyways."

Cookie narrowed her eyes at Vee. What a bitch! "No, really, I should go. I need to find someone. See you around."
Cookie, who was dragged over to a table, sat down reluctant as a rock.

Hunter nudged Vee in the ribs and whispered "Behave Vee" his eyes sparkling with amusement. "You know I can't do that" she smirked. "So cookie, how old are you?"
Cookie looked up and tried to put on a nice face. "Sixteen... my name is Terra but i generally go by Cookie.."((got to go for a bit so I'll come back later maybe))

"I'll much rather call you Terra, I feel stupid calling someone Cookie" said Vee bluntly. Hunter smiled "Terra is a pretty name why do you prefer cookie?"
"I'm not sure, it's kind of stuck for a few years now. I suppose... you can call me Terra if you want."

Cookie looked up and waved the tall glass of blue that she held in her hand towards Vee.
