"Ugh, really?" Ryan asked, a mischievous sparkle in his eye. "I'll have to try them out soon. When I find my money," He laughed.

Ryan nodded in an acknowledging manner. "Makes sense," He said, finishing up the last of his drink and setting down the glass. "So, what do you guys do for fun around here? Everyone seemed pretty uptight when I took my tour."
He sensed that Shale was becoming more comfortable around him. He liked her, she wasn't too over bearing or loud, or too high energy. He liked easy going, calmer people.

Charisse immediately caught on with what he was trying to say to her. Tipping her head to the side she looked at him with a loopy smile. Being like this was as easy as breathing to her and over these past few years she had mastered it into perfection. As they stood at the entrance no one paid any attention to them and that was the way she liked it as she pulled Brayden to the bar where she can ask the bartender some questions.
Charisse raised a hand to call the bartender's attention. After a full minute, the guy walked over to her with a swagger after looking at her tattoos with a heated gaze. She sighed on the inside. That was usually the reactions of people after seeing the art on her arms. It was either disgust or wicked admiration over it. She let her voice be husky as it can be, "2 shots of tequila." The guy's eyes lingered on her chest before smiling a wide one. She reciprocated by eyeing his muscled chest which looked like it came from doing steroids. She licked her lips even as she felt Bray stiffen behind her.
Charisse raised a finger to say that she needed a moment with the guy behind her. The bartender nodded and within a second he was already at somebody else's attention. She turned to Brayden slowly and she wound her arms around his neck so that she can pull him closer. "Bray? Trust me when I say that what I'm doing is only about finding the bastard." She sometimes get a hint of someone's emotion when they were close and she didn't know if it was intuition or magic that made her like this but this time it was telling her that Brayden was somehow disgusted or even horrified by what she was doing with the bartender. She look into his eyes and she shook him a little, "Do you get me?"
Charisse nodded before waving her hand again to get the bartender's attention. When the bartender returned he now had a nametag which contained the name 'Nate' on it. "Nate, I have some questions for you if you don't mind," she said in a low voice as she took out a hundred bill of her pocket. Nate slid it under the bar quickly. "Anything for you," his words meant something else but she didn't touch it as she took out a piece of paper from her jacket. "Do you know someone who has this?" Again she slid it over the counter and she felt Bray's body crowd against her back to get a closer look at the sketch she drew last night.

Charisse listened to Brayden without looking back at Nate anymore. Whatever Brayden found was bound to have at least some importance to it. He wouldn't have made it up just to get her away from the bartender right? She was not so sure about that though. Her eyes saw the bill neatly clutched in Brayden's fist. Wow, she never expected for him to take back the money. Money was never an issue with her but seeing that hundred bill in his palm made her right about Brayden, that he didn't waste anything at all.
((I'm going to create a Daggers Chinatown, okay?))
Ryan noticed, but said, "Uh, Canada. Nova Scotia." He let his eyes sweep over her for an instant. She was very pretty, and he thought maybe he had seen her around the day he arrived.
