Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) Ah no! 201.

message 203: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) All is quiet on the threading front. Great, now it sounds like this is some kind of sewing group. Or hair removal salon.

message 204: by Pat () (new)

Pat () | -245 comments You mean it isn't?

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Its a sewing removal salon.

message 206: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) Yeah, for when thread gets stuck in unwanted places. It happens. Apparently.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments places that involve poop or porn?

message 208: by David (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments Obviously one of those is a certain farmer, but what of the other?

message 209: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) I think anywhere is unwanted really, but those places definitely would be!

message 210: by David (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments It's warm and sunny here at the moment and I'm working 2 to 7. Seven! >8-(

message 211: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) Why did I have a strong desire to laugh at that? Ah sorry! You have my sympathy. Sort of.

message 212: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) Oh David, have you been on Amazon lately? There are plans for the next Gumbee posts, and I can't remember if I saw you there or not..

message 213: by David (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments I haven't. What are we doing?

message 214: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) This is part of what MTM put:

FOR THE NEXT SET OF POSTS
A scene that reveals something about your main characters and how they interact with others. In other words something you've done to show a side of their character or the world that you have built.

FOR THE SUBSEQUENT SET OF POSTS
Tension/peril, a scene where danger is looming in whatever form chase, stand off, prickly hairs on the back of the character's neck etc...

FOR THE SET OF POSTS AFTER THAT
Humour or wit, in the conversation of your characters, in circumstances, or just ambient... unless nobody but Will and I is able to find anything, in which case I suppose we could do a very short series because humour does bring people to the blog...

message 215: by David (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments Sounds good :~)

message 216: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) But really I'm sabotaging you and it's something totally different. Mwahaha.

message 217: by David (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments I wouldn't be surprised

message 218: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) Aww, you think so little of me!

message 219: by David (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments I probably deserve it for all those youtube links ;~)

message 220: by David (last edited Apr 15, 2013 11:44AM) (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments Apparently the twitter phobia is still there. Can't remember how to get into my account

message 221: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) Oh David, what am I going to do with you? I sent you a tweet earlier in high hopes you'd be able to reply.

message 222: by David (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments I'll try again :-(

message 223: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) Well you can use the DM service. That's something I guess!

message 224: by David (last edited Apr 16, 2013 01:12AM) (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments You got it then? That was the bit I didn't know if I was doing correctly. I figured out general tweeting, but don't have anything to say

message 225: by Will (new)

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11324 comments And I thought I was the technophobe!

message 226: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) Yep, got it and responded :-)

Me too, Will. Then again, I still haven't left this part of Goodreads, so I can't really say anything against David.

message 227: by David (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments A goodreads agoraphobiac

message 228: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) Seems pretty accurate really.

message 229: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) Oh look, there's some tumble-weed!

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments I suppose you could make tumbleweed pie or something.

message 231: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) That's disgusting, but also kind of intriguing.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Well you can get some sort of very fine pasta in a kind of big tangle that looks like tumbleweed. Would taste much better. But not in pie. With cheese and white wine sauce maybe?

message 233: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) How is it that this is sounding good to me now?

message 234: by Will (new)

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11324 comments Your taste buds have imploded?

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments It was probably the wine tat did it.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Oh yeah, I think its called angel hair pasta.

message 237: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) I'm more a fan of cheese, to be honest. I think it can make anything taste good.

message 238: by David (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments I'd begun to think everryone was on holiday :~/

message 239: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) Me too. I almost resorted to doing some work, but thankfully Gingerlily saved me.

message 240: by David (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments Trouble is I'm busy and have to go now. Catch up later.

message 241: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) Has David gone already? I'm thinking of setting a trap up for him.

message 243: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) It does. You're just making me hungry now. It never bodes well.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Quick! Someone volunteer to be eaten!

message 245: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) Please do. It would be nice to have a volunteer for a change.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments How do you feel about eating trolls? THere are a few choice characters on the Amazon US forums we could afford to lose.

message 247: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) Hmm...Never tried one before, but am willing to give it a go.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Ok, I'll send you some names by secret messenger.

DON'T EAT THE MESSENGER!

message 249: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) Strange, usually it's 'don't shoot the messenger'. I will refrain. Promise.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Ok, off shopping for jelly babies - see you later.
