Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) Hey folks,

Thanks for making your way to the madness that this will undoubtedly become. Hopefully this will go smoothly, but I am a bit of a technophobe and so it'll come as a shock if I get this right. I'm the author of the Collision Of Worlds series, which includes novels such as Plead Insanity, Minority Rules and Eternal Sentence. All feature those dreaded creatures of the night, also known as vampires, only mine don't tend to roam at night. There are some short stories from the series too, but it could become overcrowded if I start dropping links to everything. So far there are twelve full-length novels for this series, branching off with various different narrators and bringing new types of supernatural beings to the table. Or novels, as is the case. Most of the novels have yet to be released, mostly because I'm terribly disorganised and like having many novels lying in wait just in case I am incapable of coming up with anything else.

More ramblings on and off the topic of insanity can be found on my blog: http://sandragiles.blog.com/

Oh, I'm also a blue monster. I most probably should've started with that. The best way to avoid being eaten is to talk to me. If I catch you lurking in the shadows you'll undoubtedly end up being part of my next meal.

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments I've already been bitten, so you obviously didn't like the taste. Promise to pop (not Poop) on your thread on a regular basis.

If you're off searching is it Ok to make myself at home?

message 3: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) I like the taste, just not the idea of losing a friend. I'm so conflicted! Please don't poop on my thread. Save it for Will's.

Sure, settle yourself down. It might be a bit lonely though.

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Hmmmm.

Needs curtains in here.

message 5: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) Good idea. That way I can hide the bodies.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments They'll end up cremated if you let Patti anywhere near the curtains!

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Behind the curtains?

Good idea.

I love the smell of pork.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Maybe we could let her eat anyone in the sin bin. Apart from Will of course.

message 9: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) Why can't I eat Will? Doesn't he taste good?

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Well he might object. Unless you marinate him in merlot first.

message 11: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) I wouldn't dream of serving him up in any other way.

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Hi. I'm here! I'll go away now...

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments It would have to be a proper banquet.

message 14: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) Ignite! Don't go away! Can I tempt you with a slice of Will?

message 15: by David (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments This thread's growing nicely and it's not even been watered

message 16: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) It must be my charm and wit. Or perhaps no one wants to be eaten.

message 17: by David (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments Best not to eat the visitors Sandra, some of them may be potential readers

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments This slice of will is very tasty, but I just hit a lump of gristle.

message 19: by David (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments Oh dear, which bit is most gristly?

message 20: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) That's why we're eating Will, David. Sorry about that Gingerlily. I'll give you another slice.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Ah thanks, thats better, very tender.

message 22: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Oh I only went away to read something else. I'm back now. Oh, no... off to read! Keep me seat warm - Oh, Missus!

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments I'm back.

Where do you want this applesauce?

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments oooh you are saucy!

message 25: by David (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments I've already vented elsewhere about my feelings on fruit and meat combinations, so I won't do it here

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments More for us, David.

Would you like a nice boatful of Will gravy instead?

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments I really like fruit an meat combinations. What was that one I really loved? I think it was lamb and apricoy tagine...

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments My fave is turkey and cranberry.

message 29: by David (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments I like beef or venison in red wine :D Does that count as fruit?

message 30: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) I'd say so. Everyone knows wine is part of your five a day. So are chocolate raisins, jaffa cakes, and Terry's chocolate orange.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments And jelly babies

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Lemon drops

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments 7up has lemon and lime in it - prevents scurvy...

message 34: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) And strawberry chocolate. I must be really healthy.

message 35: by David (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments Look at the mess in here Sandra. Chocolate and fruit everywhere!

message 36: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments But, on the bright side, no poop!

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments and what is that puddle over there in the corner?

message 38: by David (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments *Hangs head in shame :'(

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments *gets out the rolled up newspaper*

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments *gets out the adult nappies*

message 41: by David (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments The puddle wasn't down to me, but it may explain the damp coming through to my thread and encouraging all those slugs

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Was probably Will peeing all over the seat.

message 44: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) You guys makes me laugh. Sorry about the mess. I'll cover it over with a rug.

message 45: by Will (new)

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11324 comments Oh god. Somewhere else that abuses me.

Can I go back to the Sin Bin Patti? There's a better class of riff raff there.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments You seem to have recovered quite well from being eaten Will!

message 47: by Will (new)

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11324 comments I've got this pain all down my left leg...

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments And a brain the size of a planet?

message 49: by Will (new)

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11324 comments I don't like to boast.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Its just not connected up...
