American Psycho
Lolita
Crash
Also dislike that there are a number of authors with a number of books on the list.
Aren't there enough other significant authors and books to choose from?

Couldn't finish Catch-22
DNF:
Crime and Punishment
Mrs. Dalloway
The Dispossessed: An Ambiguous Utopia
Tropic of Cancer - absolutely atrocious
Also The Catcher in the Rye wasn't as good as I expected it to be.

Georges Bataille is the worst -
Story of the Eye
Blue of Noon

-The Street of Crocodiles by Bruno Schulz
-In Watermelon Sugar by [author:Richard Brautigan|79..."
I actually really liked all of the books on your 'nope' list...I'm enjoying how subjective this can be and how other people feel about the things that spoke to me.
My Personal 'nope' list at 99% complete is:
-anything by Michael Houellebecq- why is he here multiple times?
-Life of Pi
-Disgrace and Youth by Coetzee
-anything by Wyndham Lewis- why is he here multiple times as well?
-half of Phillip Roth's books on the list (particularly Operation Shylock and Portnoy's complaint)
-Kreutzer Sonata
-Justine by de Sade (not because he's gross, but because he is a terrible writer)
-The Watchmen (would have switched for a different Graphic novel)
-The Rabbit books by John Updike
-Day of the Dolphin
-Myra Breckinridge
-The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao
-Flaubert's Parrot
-Great Apes and How the Dead live by Will Self
