Riya How about Legend by Marie Lu or Lockdown by Alexander Gordon Smith?

message 502: by Georgia (new)

Georgia (georgiiabaker) | 55 comments Ashes is a dystopian series with people turned into flesh eating zombie kind of things, there are some pretty gory moments that made me feel a little bit sick ha

message 503: by Heather (new)

Heather DeChaume | 46 comments I just bought Ashes. I've heard it's good.

message 504: by Riya (new)

Riya Lockdown: super intense and gory and gross!!! :D And so is Unwind if you havne't read that yet!

message 505: by Az (أسماء) (new)

Az (أسماء) | 348 comments @Amelia, Generation Dead is the only zombie series that I read/reading. It has some bloody happenings D:! If u like that kinda stuff. But it's more about "the acceptance of zombies in the US" than like killing, but there a bunch of that too.

One negative side could be the stupid love triangle at the beginning but that goes away quickly.

I'm not a fan of zombies, but this book is pretty good. Maybe u can check it out?

message 506: by Georgia (new)

Georgia (georgiiabaker) | 55 comments I really liked Ashes, I wasn't the biggest fan of Shadows though which is the second book in the series, it was good but not as good as Ashes

Sarah | 78 comments I'm currently reading Neuromancer. It takes about two or more reads before you notice the dystopian elements. Its quite a bit more subtle than 1984. It highlights secret police and policd corruption fairly nicely. Which is actually kind of contemporary in a way.

message 508: by Brittany (new)
